Margo's POV
You know that feeling when everything is going great in life and you can't help but be worried something is going to mess it up? That's kind of my mind in a nutshell at the moment. I got my best friend back a few days ago, and it feels amazing. I've seen my dads mentality start to improve so much. It's kind of like he's finally giving himself a moment to breath. School's just school, boring and stressful, but we'll ignore that. Ignoring it has gotten me this far.
"Pepper, we should do something today" I say turning the tv off and getting off the couch.
"Um okay sure, like what" She asks and I just shrug.
"I don't know, I just wanna get out of the house. Wait, ooh we should go bowling, that could be fun" I say perking up.
"I think we could do that. Go find your dad and we'll head out" Pepper says closing up whatever she was working on. I nod and walk down to the lab to find him working on his suit. I grab a balled up piece of paper and throw it at him.
"Time to take a break old man, we are having family time" I say causing him to turn around and give me the evil eye.
"I could keep you inside for a comment like. What are we even doing" Dad ask wiping his hands on a towel.
"We are going bowling, mostly because I finished Law and Order but also because I want to" I admit shrugging my shoulders.
"One, you just started how on earth did you finish it already. Two, who all is we" Dad asks confused on my Netflix binging.
"Never mind my Netflix binging, it's a talent. We is everyone in this house, I hadn't thought about inviting anyone else" I say rolling my eyes when he comments on my Netflix obsession.
"A talent is considered something useful, in what world is binging seasons of Law and Order in one night going to benefit you. You should call and invite Peter and May, we can make a whole group bonding out of it" Dad suggest while shutting off his machines.
"Alight cool, I'm going to call Peter now so you'll stop lecturing me" I say turning and walking away.
"It's all out of love kid, it's my job as your father" he says before I walk out of the lab. When I walk back into the living room I grab my phone out of my jacket to call Peter.
"Hey Margo, what's up" Peter says when he answers.
"Hey Parker long time no talk. We are coming to pick you and May up to come bowling with us, so get yourself ready" I say while walking around trying to find my shoes.
"Wait why, I mean don't get me wrong I'm totally down, but it's kinda random" He says sounding curious.
"Maybe because I haven't seen you once this week since you've been back" I say putting on my shoes before I'm told we are leaving.
"Awe does someone miss me" Peter asks laughing.
"Oh hush it Parker, now get ready we are leaving now" I say before hanging up the call. We get in the car. When we get to Peter's apartment I text him and tell him we are here.
"You ready to get beat at bowling" I ask when Peter and May get into the car.
"Your confidence is duly noted, but you're talking to the bowling champion" May says looking over at me. I raise my eyebrows and look over at Peter, who just nods his head.
"She's not kidding, I have never been able to beat her" Peter says shaking his head.
"This should be interesting, now we have two people who think they are champions" Pepper says with a slight laugh, adding air quotes when she says "champions".
