Chapter 9- Reluctant Battle

I called out his name but it wasn't the JB I knew. He was cold, intimidating, stoned face. No emotion was on his face as I said his name. He would always smile when I said it.

"What did you do to him?!" I looked around for Jungkook but his laugh just echoed throughout the streets.

JB took slow steps towards me, shadows casting over his eyes. Was he hypnotized like BamBam?

I backed away. "Jaebumie... What are you doing?"

He didn't reply, and he kept getting closer to me. I stepped back, not knowing what he was going to do next.

I stepped backwards.

He stepped forward.

His eyes were a misty silver; it was alluring, but it made him look scary at the same time.

And then I was running. I ran as fast as I could, and I heard him running behind me. Faster and faster down the pavement, I dashed away.

I turned a corner, jumped over a garbage can, phased through walls, and went through a narrow street. I knew I was losing him as his footsteps echoed farther away. I turned at another corner and I thought I saw him run pass by me. I gasped and saw there was a public bathroom by the park.

I made myself invisible and went inside the public bathroom, locking the door behind me.

I made sure all of my belongs were invisible and looked for my phone. Once I found it, I pressed the home button but it was dead.

"Crap..." I muttered.

My eyes lit up as I remembered the book I had. I flipped the pages and wrote a message to everyone, and it disappeared off the pages.

Something knocked on the door and I froze.

I stayed in the corner of the bathroom and held onto my bag.

The door knob broke off, falling onto the ground. It was broken into pieces in ice shards. He slowly pushed the door open and looked around.

JB trudged and looked in the stalls and in every corner. My heart was racing, I was trembling and held my breath.

He looked around and stared at where I was. His metallic eyes looked into mines and I froze. Before I could comprehend what happened, cold icicles scraped my cheek. I winced and drops of blood was visible on the floor.

"Found you."

He stomped his foot on the ground, and the whole floor was ice. I became visible and jumped before the ice could keep me in place. JB reached for me, but I phased through him just in time. My glasses were on the ground, and my vision was slightly blurry. The ice became water and the floor became slippery. He pivoted on his heel and threw his hand, letting water from the floor splash onto me.

He pushed me to the opposite wall, but I kicked him in the gut, and phased through him once again, giving me time to grab my glasses. When I put my glasses on, JB sent a wave of ice my way. My heart stopped for a second and I slid onto the side. The ice tore my sleeve, and caught a part of my skin. Stains of blood was visible, but I didn't care.

I'm scared to hurt JB because I think he's hypnotized. I don't care if I get hurt, I just want Jaebumie back...

I went for the door but he pulled me back. I turned and pushed him, but it wasn't enough. JB kicked the air and a wave of water appeared in front of me. I was completely soaked and was pushed to the wall again. My head was pounding now. Drenched in water, my hair sticking to my forehead and trickles of blood was dripping from my cheek. I fell to the floor as the water drained.

JB walked up to me and I tried getting up, but my body was aching. He harshly pulled me up by the collar of my shirt, and slammed me against the wall. I winced and weakly looked at him.

"Why are you doing this?" I weakly said.

He didn't reply and put his arm against the wall. Slowly, he leaned his face close to mines. He's trying to kill me, and all of a sudden, he's kissing me.

I didn't kiss back. Not that I didn't want to, but I couldn't. I would have, but the pounding in my head was killing me, and now the pain was stinging and unbearable.

His hand held my cheek as the other was trailing down to my waist. Everything felt so numb, and yet bliss. I missed Jaebum so much...

I looked down and saw JB take out the mirror from his pocket.

Suddenly, Yugyeom appeared and side kicked JB into the wall. The impact made the mirror in his hand fall and shatter.

"JINYOUNG LET'S GO!!" Yugyeom grabbed my wrist and clicked his laser pen.

The two of us went through the portal, and before JB could reach the two for us, we suddenly appeared at Yugyeom's house.
