Will she really call
Or find a need to stall
So nervous to answer the phone
It is a good thing I am alone
No one will see me blush
Or hear my words pour out in a rush
My hands are full of nervous sweat
Hopefully I will not drop the handset
I start to talk hopping I find the right words
Listening to the chirping of the birds
Her voice if so sweet
She could sweep me off my feet
I say something to make her laugh
Which cuts my nervousness in half
Now that we broken this ice
Maybe this will happen twice
I am happy have the first call completed
Can't wait until it is repeated
