16 | caught in a dilemma

Weeks have passed and it was finally the release date of their new album, 'Love Yourself: Her'. Jungkook found it really hard not to spoil any of their new songs to Jisoo—considering the fact that they both play video games together plus the girl's a huge fan of their group. He wanted to atleast give her special treatment after what she did to him under the bridge, but since his manager and the members will beat his ass for leaking their new songs, he had to wait and find an alternative way to say 'thanks'.

So here he is, having a Skype session with Jisoo so that both of them could watch the music video at the same time. You could say that they have already grown more comfortable with each other to the point where they could do this.

"Hey Jungkook, I brought some popcorn." Jisoo says as she plops right onto her swivel chair, showing him the fresh bowl of buttered popcorn.

"It's like you're going to watch a movie." Jungkook remarked, "It's just a music video, Jisoo."

"Yeah but-" She plops one piece of popcorn in and chews before quickly swallowing, "I got hungry waiting for the music video to come out."

"Are you excited?" Jungkook asked.

His heart nearly leapt right out his chest when he saw Jisoo nodding her head in delight.

"Yep. You guys make the best music in this generation." Jisoo commented before smiling at Jungkook.

Ba-dump.

"The heck?" Jungkook muttered, his left hand slowly travelling to his chest.

"Did you say something?" Jisoo asked, the bright look on her face not faltering.

Jungkook immediately shook his head. "Nothing." He says, as he leans closer to the screen, "By the way... It's almost time for the music video release so keep your eyes peeled on the channel."

Jisoo scoffed. "I've been doing this for the past fifteen minutes."

So they waited for the next ten minutes for the music video to be released. When the notification finally came, Jisoo nearly threw the bowl of popcorn.

"It's here!" She says excitedly, and quickly clicks on the video.

A smile graced Jungkook's lips as he watches the girl gushing over the infamous intro. "The music video hasn't even started yet."

Jisoo shushed the man as her attention remained locked on the screen. A few seconds later, Jungkook's face popped up—he was whistling the same tune in the teasers. She watched in awe as she could feel the charms of the younger male overflowing.

"Wow. You look really good here!" Jisoo beamed.

Ba-dump.

'There it goes again.' Jungkook thought as he touched his chest. His eyes widened as he could feel his heart pounding. 'This is new..'

Jungkook tried to ignore it and went on to watch the music video with Jisoo, but whenever the female complimented him, his heart would do it again.

'There's no way...' Jungkook thought as he slowly puts the puzzle pieces together, 'I'm not falling for her, am I?' He says as he looks over at Jisoo, who was currently singing along to the second chorus of their new title track.

Flashbacks of all the times they have met and spent together suddenly came into his mind, making subconsciously smile. Once he realised it, he quickly snapped back to reality.
