23 | the official date! pt. 1

Third Person P.O.V

Jeon Jungkook paced back and forth in front of the dormitory building, patiently waiting for Jisoo to make her appearance. The male was barely able to sleep last night; tossing in turning on his bed as he thought of the possible events that might happen during their "date"—most were good moments.

He glances at the watch on his wrist. It was '8:30 am' and Jisoo was still nowhere to be found. 'Don't tell me that kid is still sleeping...' Jungkook thought to himself, lightly chuckling. Just as the male lifted his head up, his phone rang.

He dug his hand into his pockets and fished out his phone; without any hesitation, Jungkook answered the phone, with hopes of hearing Jisoo's voice at the other side. "Hello?" The male pressed his phone against his ear, expecting to hear the groggy voice of Jisoo to tell him that she had just woken up.

Though Jungkook received an entirely different response; instead of hearing a voice, there was heavy breathing at the other line. The male quickly retracted the phone from his ear and looked at the screen, seeing that it was from an unknown number. Without any hesitation, he dismisses the call; it was probably one of his members playing pranks on him again.

"Kook-ah!"

The familiar low, husky female voice gave Jungkook's heart enough adrenaline to do jumping jacks. He sees Jisoo's figure, clad in casual clothes—black crop top matched with a blue cardigan, faded blue jeans, branded white shoes, and a branded shoulder bag to carry her essentials. She also had her hair tied in a high ponytail to compliment her facial structure; and despite wearing a mask to cover her face, Jungkook could tell that she was wearing light makeup.

In his eyes, she still looked pretty in a casual get-up. Jungkook got all shy and red as he notices the girl closing in. "Oh... uhh.. Hi Jisoo." he mumbled, still looking for the right words to say.

The female noticed his nervousness and raises a brow. "Hey... What's with the nervousness I'm getting here?" Jisoo nudges him on the elbow, "Relax dude! Just think of it as a friendly date, don't let those articles get to your head."

His heart sunk upon the mention of 'friendly date'; of course, in Jisoo's eyes, Jungkook was nothing more but a friend. This fake relationship was going to hurt him more than his reputation, but he had to prepare himself; he eventually had to forget the feelings he holds for Jisoo.

"Right..." Jungkook then pulls out his phone, "Anyways, the movie isn't starting until the afternoon so I'll be taking you to places for the meantime."

Jisoo smiles. "Alright then, Mr. Jeon~" She cooed, "Lead the way!"

Jungkook couldn't help but laugh at Jisoo being all adorable. 'It's going to be hard to get over you...' He thought to himself as he extends his hand out to Jisoo, so that she could hop in the car with ease, 'But I have to...' He unknowingly grips tightly onto the female's hand.

'Just for this day...'

Location: Han River

Jisoo hops out of the vehicle, feeling quite excited of the activities that she will be doing with Jungkook. She glanced back and finds the male following her closely, hands dug deep into his pockets as he looks around.

"So, what do you have for me here?" She asks, pertaining to the location Jungkook drove her to. The male doesn't answer, instead he comes up next to her and intertwines his hand with hers. The unexpected and bold action of the younger caught Jisoo off guard. Strangely, it gave her heart a small 'ba-dump' and caused her cheeks to turn into red.
