Act 1, Scene 2

With the screech of the tires, the Rolls Royce came to a halt in front of a huge Villa; nonetheless, the driver didn't move from his position but peeked a glance on the left side to find his passenger sleeping without a care of the world. To say that he was bemused with the scene would be wrong because he was pissed. Not pissed but all the adjectives of the word.

It was supposed to be him sleeping after a long flight from New York but the irony here was-it was his younger brother who came to receive him was finding merry in his sleep while he found his snores ear deafening.

His jet-black eyes scrutinized the comfortable position of his brother, and awakening the devil inside him, he switched on the music system in full volume that not only his brother but the entire neighbourhood will wake up; right then the sleepy head was up with a jerk like someone pushed him off the cliff while his mother was yelling her lungs out to save him from the fall.

And the award for the weirdest imagination goes to twenty-one-years-old Devansh Sehgal's subconscious.

"What the hell? You freak!" Devansh cursed and much to his disbelief, his elder brother Harsh Sehgal burst out laughing. Practically, with the loud music still on, the high-pitched laughter only added to the misery of a younger boy who loved to sleep.

When Harsh continued to be lost in his world, Devansh switched off the music system, and the first thing he did was to rub his ears to check their working abilities which were under threat.

All thanks to his New York returned brother!

"Is this how you wake up people in your country?" Devansh accused pointing his finger at him.

Harsh shrugged, checked his hair in the rear-view mirror and stepped out of the car, throwing his jacket on his shoulders and admired the beauty of the Sehgal Villa which he missed to see for a year now.

The Sehgal legacy was started by Ridhaan Sehgal and his wife, Rashmi Sehgal when he first founded the Sehgal and Co. departmental store back in his days. When his one and only son, Vardhan Sehgal took the charge, one store transformed into a chain of departmental stores slowly making their business as the most talked family businesses of the Delhi city. After Kritika Sehgal joined their family, the business was managed by the four with the women having the upper hand in the dealings, and it wasn't a shock to the men when their involvement came out to be a blessing.

It is rightly said right that-"A woman is no less in any field; if given a chance she proves her worth. It's only a matter of opportunity than a choice."

Though Ridhaan Sehgal hoped for his grandsons to be part of the family reign but when the eldest Harsh, after his grand mother's sudden demise eleven years back, expressed his wish to study and work in abroad, the man agreed immediately because he knew the generation saw things in a distinct manner. He can't force anyone to be part of his family business against their will; although in the years, the family missed Harsh but when he finally succeeded in becoming the successful fashion designer, the decision was worth.

But two years back, when he finally got the chance to promote his "Bindass Girls" Collection at the New York fashion week, his success story reached to an altogether different level. The collection wasn't just a bunch of fabrics transformed into elegant outfits, but it emphasized on a theme representing the female society across the world.

The theme said: "We wear what we like; we wear what makes us comfortable; our clothes don't represent who we're, they only add a sparkle to our personality. So, don't crib and cry over what we wear because she who wears her dresses with a smile is a Girl of her time."
