Authors Note:- Shoes, and tomatoes both are welcome to be thrown at me for this extra-long leave I took but hell, I was engrossed in so many family functions that they all kept my head occupied and then as soon as I got free, I worked on #MIL.

And well, good news is that I've officially registered myself in the ISBN agency which is first step for the publishing process. Slow, but we are reaching there and by the end of Jan, I've set my target to launch the book anyhow.

And like I said about my missing adventure in my wall post so it happened like in the celebrations of my maternal grandparents anniversary, I was supposed to perform in a group song but the chicken I'm I had to get my allergy itching right then, and at time of performance I became Mr India and went to scratch myself in washroom (Lol) So, I actually missed the dance but you all can check out the pictures on my Instagram.

I've removed the privacy from my account on Insta, so you can search my name, and you'll get to see all my pictures from my birthday bash to the Diwali, and other celebrations.

And today also going to attend a birthday party of a cousin. Uff, November is like party month for me. Its not ending only.

So, now enjoy the chapter.

Act 3, Scene 1

On the day of the competition, dressed in the black and silver embroidered gymnast costume, Aashka did the last time warm-ups in the changing room in one corner while the other three girls stood in the corner shooting holes at her stretched form. As much as she would've loved to ask them to concentrate on the practice, she avoided intervening their unhealthy conversation which didn't do anything better but mess her head.

At that time, she needed calm not their unnecessary opinion on how she was a favoured leading girl in the team.

Besides, she already had to deal with the crazy thoughts running in her head due to Harsh's last request after which she couldn't even make up her mind to talk with him more. He just sat for a few minutes holding her hand but with the way he caressed her knuckles, a flood of feelings ran in her body.

An urge to question him rose but she neglected it right away not wanting to spoil his birthday.

She couldn't be that heartless now, could she?

According to her, it was the right thing to do especially when she saw that happiness in his eyes while he was leaving after spending a good amount of time with her.

A smile curved on the sides of her lips as she checked her reflection in the mirror for the final time before the series of humiliating remarks echoed in her ears.

"I plan on asking Mrs Raisha Khandelwal that why doesn't she keep her favoured child at home only," her team-mate Lara again said.

"Her mother doesn't have time for her husband and kids; how will she even know that her daughter is a failure. So much partiality for being Raisha Khandelwal's daughter." Kristy taunted.
