Ava's POV
I shook my head and took the helmet out of his hands. A smile formed on his face and he place the board on the ground. "So you stand on the board like this." He put both of his feet on the board, standing straight with his knees a little bent. "Bend you knees because it helps you balance easier, also if you fall you won't fall as bad as you will standing straight." He got off the board and gestured me to get on it. "I break something, you have to pay the medical bills." I put my left foot on and suddenly the nervousness kicked in. The board shook below me, I looked at Ethan and he walked up to me.
He took my right hand as my foot was still on the deck. "I got you" I nodded my head. I put my right foot on and I was trying my hardest to balance. "I'm gonna let go" Ethan said and I looked at him in panic.
He let go and I was doing all his instructions. I stayed on the board without falling.

After two hours of falling I could skate without falling. He decided to go to his house, we walked in and I saw a girl and a guy. Ethan took my hand and walked me over to them. "Guys this is Ava, Ava this is Cameron my sister and my twin, Grayson." Grayson got up and walked up to me with a smile. He put his hand out, "it's nice to meet you, Ethan told me a lot about you." I shook his hand and looked at Ethan with my eyebrows raised. His cheeks turned a shade of red and I kissed his cheek. His sister walked up to me and hugged me, "what Grayson said." She said and all of us started laughing.
We all were talking for hours and I really liked them. Me and Ethan went up to Ethan's room. He shut the door behind him, I walked in and saw a girls... bra? Chloe! I got her out of my head yesterday and now it's back in it. I can't believe she would do this to me. My best friend betrayed me the worse way possible. I felt arms wrap around my waist, "Hey babe..." he went silent when he saw what I was looking at.
He quickly let go of me and picked it up and threw it in the trash. "I'm sorry, I haven't clean my room." He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the floor. "Why, Ethan?" I asked with my voice cracking. "I already told you" he said taking a step toward me. "The real reason" he shut his eyes and opened them again.
"Because that night you hurt me Ava, I had feelings for you! I didn't do it for revenge, I did it to make me a little less heartbroken."
