Ethan's POV
I woke up and Ava was still sleeping. I needed some fresh air, I kissed her forehead and put on joggers and walked outside to our balcony. The sun was rising and the way the city looked with the colors of the sky made me think of her...
The way she makes me feel, the was she makes me want to do anything. She's my drug, she's going to be gone... and I can't get that out of my head. She is going to be dead if I like it or not, she's not coming back. I looked over the balcony and saw the busy road. It would be so easy to end it... but I won't do it. I can't do it. I sat on the small couch that was on the balcony, still staring at the sky.
I heard the balcony door slide open and Ava sat next to me on the couch. I put my arm around her as she was nuzzled into my chest. "How was your sleep?" I asked, "good, I guess."
"Are you okay?" I asked, "no, but I'm guessing you're not okay either." I kissed her forehead, "I'm never not okay with you, you make me happy even if you are dying. I just try to block it out when you are around me." I told her and she took my hand the was on her shoulder.
"You're amazing"
"You're cute"
Ava's POV
After 30 minutes of sitting there, we decided to get ready for the day. I wore adidas pants with Ethan's vans hoodie. I pulled my hair up and I walked into the bathroom where Ethan was changing. He had only black Calvin Klein's on with his black hair dripping wet. I saw his tattoos that I barely ever payed attention to. He saw me looked and walked up to me with a small smile on his face. He lightly pushed me on the wall with his hands up by my head. His wet hair dripped on me, "checking me out, Adams?" He asked, I put my hands on his cheeks, I pulled him into a kiss and he kissed back. One hand stayed on his cheek as the other was holding onto his hair.
"I guess that was a yes?" He joked and he kissed me once more, but this time more passionate, more lovingly. His hands were now on my hips and a slight moan escaped my lips. "I can't lose you" he said in my ear and I pulled his close. I felt him sob into my shoulder, "you won't, I promise." I said, I knew that was a lie but I just couldn't see his like this. He pulled away from my grip and looked me in my eyes. "Let's go" he exited the room and quickly changed into a outfit.
He picked up his keys and we headed out of the hotel. We walked up to the retail car and he started driving to the main city that was the only thing he told me. He gave me a black blindfold, so I put it on. We were driving for 45 minutes and I heard the car turn off. He took off my blindfold and saw the Statue of Liberty. I love him, I swear to god.
I kissed him and he grabbed my hand as we walked in. Surprisingly not that many people were there, since it's a Wednesday in October. We took the elevator because Ethan was worried about me falling and I agree with him, sadly. We arrived at the top, it was extremely hot so I took off Ethan's hoodie. He offered to hold it but I just tied it around my waist.
