getting to know you Pt. 2

Riley

I was a bit shocked when Ariana told me the reason why she left, which was reminded me of someone that I used to know. I knew the place she spoke of and the guy who ran the place because my dad helps him out which I decided to get away from him before he decided to get me involved in it and I didn't want that for me or anyone else and I was relieved when Ariana told me that she left that place but I was also concerned that someone would from there would come looking for her so I decided to start letting her tag along with me wherever I went.

Riley: look Ariana I know what it was like being in a place like that and I don't want anyone being there so I've decided to start taking you with me everywhere I go.

Ariana: thank you for helping me Riley but I left without anyone knowing and it scares me to know that they might come looking for me...

Riley: you're safe with me, don't be scared Ariana it will be okay.

Ariana: I hope you are right cause I don't want anything bad happening to you.

I looked at her and watched as a tear rolled down her face and fell on the shirt she was wearing, I wondered what was so bad that had her scared for my safety as well, I pulled into a empty parking lot so we could talk more.

Riley: why are you scared for me?

Ariana: well a year ago, my mother she begun dating the guy in charge of it all and well he begun getting people yo watch me close in case something bad happened to me they would be there just in case, that's why I snuck out late at night so nobody knew where I went.

Riley: so your mother is dating the boss?

Ariana: yes.

Riley: well we should get to a hotel and rest for the night, we have a long drive ahead of us...

Ariana: Riley...this is serious, I don't want anything bad happening to you or your friends.

Riley: don't worry Ariana, its gonna be okay, you should know something since we are being honest with each other...my dad he works for the same boss your mom is dating and I left just like you did, when he come looking for me I told him that I didn't want to be around it anymore so he agreed to no longer contact me and that's been 4 years ago now...but it's going to be different with you Ariana since your mother is emotionally involved and he will send people to come look for you but don't be scared because it will be okay.
