Six months passed since I had left that place, I was hanging out with Riley and Jake when I seen them, I was freaking out on the inside while I remained calm and pretended that I didn't see them because I didn't want to scare the guys but I think Riley knew since I had begun fidgeting

Riley: hey Jake lets get out if here so we can head to the next city.

Jake: yeah lets do that.

Riley: do you have your clothes packed Ariana?

Ariana: yeah...

I stood up quickly and walked beside Riley while he handed me a hoodie to put on which I did when I got out of sight of Antonio's men.

Riley: don't worry Ariana, its going to be okay.

He whispered softly in my ear and my only reaction was to grab his hand as we got into his vehicle and drove towards the next city...I couldn't believe that they found me, I was scared for Jake and Riley because I didn't know what would happen to them.

Jake: what's the rush Riley?

Riley: I will tell you when we get to the next city, if that's okay with you Ariana.

Ariana: he deserves to know the truth.

Jake: tell me what?

Riley: Ariana ran away from home...but its not what you think, her mother is dating a mafia boss...

Jake: you can't be serious, do you know how much danger she has put us in Riley? Her being with us could get us killed...

Ariana: I realize that Jake and I don't want that....

Jake: I say we ditch her Riley and pretend we never met her...

Riley: I'm not doing that Jake, I'm already involved in this...

Jake: she is part of the mafia, me and you aren't safe...

Riley: she isn't the only one involved in the mafia...when we return home I will take her so we can speak to my father.

Jake: oh yeah and what can your father do Riley? This is the mafia we are talking about...

Riley: my father is a mafia boss, he will know what to do...

Jake: great I'm stuck with a future mafia boss and a run away kid, is she even twenty years old like you said Riley?

Ariana: no I'm eighteen years old but I will be nineteen in a couple of weeks.

The rest of the ride was quiet, Riley was focused on driving and Jake was mad about me being here which I could understand why...I didn't want anything bad to happen to them...

Ariana: I'm sorry Jake, I hope you can forgive me for not telling you sooner.

Jake: I forgive you Ariana, I still think you should go home though...if they are looking for you they won't stop until you return home...

Ariana: you're right...

Riley: they are looking for her already

Jake: we don't need trouble with her people Riley...

Riley: she isn't going anywhe---

Ariana: he's right Riley, I don't want them causing problems with you two so I think it would be better if I leave.

He pulled the car into a nearby gas station and looked over at me after he put the vehicle in park....

Riley: I'm not going to do that Aria, I'm already involved in this and I'm not going to give you up without a fight

Jake: oh you can't be serious right now.

Ariana: I really like you Riley and I don't want you getting hurt because of a choice I made...

Riley: I'm afraid you're stuck with me.

Jake: oh why don't you just kiss her already....I know you have feelings for her

I was about to say something to Jake when I felt Riley push his mouth on mine

Jake: I was joking Riley....

I looked down after he pulled away and suddenly felt myself blushing.
