After Barba left the hospital, he just went back to his apartment. He wanted so badly to be there but the team thought he knew something about Liv's shooting. He just wished he could be by Liv's side and kiss her but Liv didn't want people to know. 

Barba walked into his bedroom and laid down on his bed with a huge sigh. He took out his wallet and looked at the picture of Liv he had in the photo slot. He grabbed the shirt Liv had left on the floor and balled it up in his arms. He looked at Liv's photo and hugged her shirt and suddenly, he's cheeks felt hot. Barba realized he was crying. He missed Liv so much and he was scared. He was angry too. He was angry because he couldn't be there for her. All he needed right now was a hug and a kiss from her. That way he would know she was safe. Barba fell asleep clutching Liv picture and shirt.

Barba woke up to his phone ringing

Barba: (On the phone) "Hello!"

Tutuola: (On the phone) "Hey Barba, it's Finn. You need to get the hospital as soon as possible."

Barba: (On the phone) "Why, what's wrong? Is Liv okay?"

Tutuola: (On the phone) "I'll explain when you get here but make sure you get here quickly ok?"

Barba: (On the phone) "Ok I'm halfway out the door now."

Barba grabbed his coat and ran out the door. He hopped his car and sped off to the hospital. He was driving 100 in a 25. Barba pulled up at the hospital, barely parked the car and jumped out and ran in. Barba saw Finn standing near the door and ran over to him.

Barba: "What's wrong? Is Liv okay?"

Tutuola: "Well, there's been a problem."

Barba: "What? Where is she? What happened?"

Tutuola: "She's gone Barba."

Barba: "What do you mean she's gone? Is she dead?"

Tutuola: "She's not dead Barba, but it looks like Lewis took her."

Barba: "How could you let this happen. You guys were all right here. How did he get past you."

Tutuola: "He killed a scrub nurse and stole his uniform and ID so he was able to gain access to the ICU from the employee entrance."

Barba: "Well we need to find her. Right now. What are we doing just standing around? He could be torturing her as we speak."

Rollins: "Let's head back to the squad room and we can't start investigating. Barba, I need you to get us warrants."

The squad headed back to the squad room and Barba got in his car to go to his office. When Barba was driving, he couldn't help but let a tear slip down his cheek.

Lewis walked back into the room. In his hand, he was carrying a bunch of rope, a cow prod, candles, cigarettes, a knife, clothespins and matches. He grabbed Liv off the ground and ripped her shirt open. He then proceeded to take the knife and cut her bra off.

Benson: "Please you don't have to do this. Please I don't want this. You can get away now if you just leave. Nobody will ever know I was with you."

Lewis: "It's too late for that sweetie. I'm here with you and I'm not you go this time."

Liv began sobbing as Lewis ran his hands down her body until he reached the hemline of her pants. He yanked her pants of and then proceeded to rip her underwear off so she was completely naked. Then, Lewis left the room for a second and came back with a bucket of water. He threw the bucket of water on her and picked up the cow prod. Liv knew this could only mean one thing. The water was just going to make the shock from the cow prod more intense. Lewis began to shock her, leaving burn marks on her skin.

Benson: "Ahhhhhhhhh!! Please stop."

Lewis: "Fine, you want me to stop, that's ok with me but that just means I'm going to bring out a new toy."

Lewis grabbed Liv by her hair and started to tie her up. He tied her boobs really tight until they turned purple and attached the rope to a hook on the ceiling so she was only hanging from her boobs. He light the candles and started to dripping the broiling hot wax over her skin. Liv screamed out in pain and began sobbing again. 

Lewis: "I guess we can move on to something else now."

Lewis began to rape her and smack her face. When he was finished, he lit the cigarettes and began to put the burning end up against her skin causing a smell of burning flesh to enter the room.

Benson: "Barba, please, I need you to find me."

Lewis: "What was that I heard? Are you in love with Barba?"

Liv began sobbing again at the mention of his name and she just completely broke down. Suddenly, Liv heard footsteps in the background.

Lewis: "Let me just add one last thing"

Lewis grabbed the knife and carved the word SLUT into Liv's chest. Just as he finished, Finn came rushing through the door and pointed his gun at Lewis.

Tutuola: "Drop the knife or I'll shoot you. I mean it Lewis!"

Lewis lunged to slash Liv's throat but Finn shot him in the head before he got the chance. 

Finn ran over to Liv and took the rope down from the ceiling.

Tutuola: (on the radio) "I need a bus stat!!!"

Tutuola: "Liv, you're ok, I'm here now."

He realized her boobs were still tied so he looked at her and said 

Tutuola: "Liv, I know this is awkward but I need to cut this rope, okay?"

Liv just nodded. Finn took the knife from the ground and cut the rope off. After that, he realized she was trying to cover herself. He took his coat off and put it around her as the paramedics were arriving. They loaded her on to the stretcher and put her in the ambulance. Finn rode along with her. 

Benson: (weakly) "Please call Barba. If I don't make it, you have to tell him I love him."

Tutuola: "I promis Liv, but you're not going to die. Since when have you and Barba been a thing?"

Liv's chest suddenly started bleeding a lot and she passed out.
