Barson- I need you

Touch and Go

The ambulance pulled up at the hospital and before it could even be parked, the paramedics opened the doors and jumped out and ran into the hospital with Liv on the gurney. Barba, in the waiting room watched in horror as Liv came into the hospital unconscious, beaten and bloodied. The doctors pulled her into the trauma room. Just as the door was closing Barba saw Liv and began to cry.

--In the Trauma Room--

ER Doctor: "Ok, we need to transfer her to this gurney."

Nurse: "Ready, roll on 3. 1...2...3..."

The medical staff in the room rolled her off of one gurney and put her onto the other. Just then, the trauma surgeon ran into the room.

Trauma Surgeon: "What the hell happened?"

Paramedic: "From the sound of it she was kidnapped and brutally beaten."

Trauma Surgeon: "Ok thanks guys, you could go, we got it from here."

The paramedics walked out and the doctor grabbed the defibrillator.

Doctor: "Charge to 300!"

Nurse: "Charged"

Doctor: "Clear"

With that, the doctor shocked Liv and suddenly her heartbeat came back.

Trauma Surgeon: "Ok guys she's awake."

Nurse: "Hi honey. My name's Jennifer. Can you tell me what happened?"

Benson: "Barba, I need Barba."

Doctor: "Jennifer can you go out to the waiting room and see if there's a Barba out there."

With that, the nurse left to get Barba.

Doctor: "These cuts on her chest are still bleeding. I think we can just use a chemical cautery and it will be fine. Can you inject a local anesthetic."

The trauma surgeon injected a local anesthetic into Liv's chest and the doctor pulled out a chemical cautery. They cauterized the bleeding and put a a bandage over the cuts.

Trauma Surgeon: "We have a problem. Her breasts still don't have much circulation, she needs surgery if we want to restore blood flow."

Doctor: "Ok, let's bring her up now."

The doctors rushed Liv up to surgery, the treated her burns from the cow prod, cigarettes and candles wax. The surgeons also were able to restore blood flow to her breasts and wrapped her entire chest in bandages. The doctors brought her back down to the ICU and waited for her to wake up.

About an hour later, Liv woke up screaming. The nurses ran in and all came over to her side.

Benson: "Barba, where's Barba?"

Nurse: "It's okay, we'll grab him just calm down."

Liv couldn't get herself to calm down so the doctor injected her with a sedative. In about two hours, she began to come around again. When she felt someone grabbing her hand, she pulled it away and began screaming for Barba.

Barba sat up in the chair next to her and grabbed her hand tighter. 

Barba: "Liv, I'm right here, I'm here for you. Don't worry, it'll all be okay."

Barba pulled Liv's head onto his chest and she began to calm down. 

Benson: "Help... you need to help me. My chest is bleeding again."

Barba pushed the call button next to Liv and waited for the doctors to come in.  The doctors weren't coming and Liv looked dizzy.

Barba: "Liv, I'm sorry, but I'm going to need to try to get this bleeding under control. You've bled through your hospital gown and blankets."

Barba ripped the bandage off of Liv's chest and started crying. He saw how bruised her breasts were and then his eyes were drown to the bleeding word written accross her chest. "SLUT"

Barba: "Liv, I wish I was able fucking kill this guy."

Barba grabbed the gauze on the table next to him and started to hold pressure on the wound. Liv screamed.

Benson: "Ahhhh, Rafael, it hurts."

Barba: "I know, I know, I'm so sorry I'm hurting you but I need to stop the bleeding. I love you Liv."

Finally the doctors ran in and took over for Barba, they grabbed another chemical cautery and put it up against the bleeder and Liv screamed again.

Barba: "I know it hurts, just squeeze my hand. I'm right here with you."

The doctors got the bleeding under control and re-bandaged Liv's chest.

Barba: "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't of let this happen to you. I love you."

Barba began to cry and hopped into bed next to Liv, she just rested her head on his chest and fell asleep.
