Barson- I need you

The Morning After

Olivia woke up and saw that Barba was still asleep. She snuggled herself in closer to Barba. Barba woke up and kissed Olivia's head.

Barba: "Good morning sunshine."

Benson: "Good morning. Did I wake you?

Barba: "Yeah, but It's okay.

Benson: "Thanks for last night. It was great."

Barba: "Do you know how much I love you?"

Benson: "Why don't you show me."

Barba kissed Olivia. Olivia turned around so she was facing him and they began to make out. 

Barba's phone started to ring.

Barba: "Hold that thought"

Barba picked up his phone.

Barba on the phone: "Hello this is Barba... Yeah got it... I'll be there in thirty minutes."

Barba hung up the phone.

Benson: "Let me guess, you need to go."

Barba: "Yeah, but if we leave now we can grab coffee before I drop you off at your office."

Benson: "Oh yeah, I completely forgot that I don't have my car here. Let me just hop in the shower and then we can stop at my place on the way so I can grab Noah and some clean clothes."

Barba: "Yeah the bathrooms right through here."

Liv got out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. She turned on the shower and took off Barba's big shirt. She hopped into the shower and began to wash her hair. Barba came into the bathroom.

Barba: "Hey can I join you?"

Benson: "Sure"

Barba hopped into the shower with Olivia and started to give her a shoulder massage. 

Benson: "Rafael you need to stop. We really need to get to work."

Barba: "Ok but maybe you can come back tonight."

Benson: "Let me see how work goes."

Barba: "Ok, we should go soon if we're going to get coffee and stop at your house."

Benson: "Ok can you grab some towels."

Barba: "Yeah there's some on the counter."

Barba and Olivia got out of the shower, wrapped themselves in towels and went back into Barba's room. Barba put on his suit and tie.

Benson: "Oh shoot, I don't know why I just took a shower, I have no clean clothes."

Barba: Handing Liv a big shirt and some shorts "Here you can borrow these until we get back to your place."

Benson: "Okay thanks."

Barba and Liv finished getting ready and they get into Barba's car and drove to Liv's house.

Benson: "Wait right here, I'll be right out.

Benson came back out in some black skinny jeans, healed boots, a black top and a blazer. She was holding Noah.

Barba: "Damn Liv, you look hot!"

Benson: "Thanks Barba. Is it okay if we drop Noah off at daycare before work?"

Barba: "Yeah that's fine as long as you have his car seat. I can't be driving around with a cop whose kid isn't in a babyseat."

Benson: "Yeah I have it right here."

Benson strapped Noah's seat into the car and hopped in the front. 

Barba: "What's the address for Noah's daycare."

Liv plugged it into the GPS and they were off. When they got to the daycare, they all got out and walked him in.

Barba: "So what do you if Noah needs to be picked up early?"

Benson: "I have to leave work because Lucy has another job and I'm the only other person on his pick-up list."

Barba: "Well why don't you add me to that list."

Benson: "That's really okay Barba, you don't need to do that."

Barba: "But I do need to do it. Because you see, I understand that dating you means that Noah is going to be a part of my life too. And I'm willing to make that commitment because I love you and I really want to be a part of your life."

Benson: "Barba, that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said. Thank you so much. I love you too."

Liv and Barba walked Noah into class and then walked over to the front desk.

Benson: "Hi, I'm Noah's mom, I'd like to add someone els to his pick-up list if that's ok."

Desk Lady: "Sure that's fine, what's their name?"

Benson: "Rafael Barba"

Desk Lady: "Has this person ever been charged with any crimes?"

Benson: "No."

Desk Lady: "Ok, I'm putting him on the list for now but next time you come I need a copy of his driver's license."

Benson: "He's actually right here, (To Barba) Do you have your license?)

Barba: "Yeah here." He pulled his license out of his wallet and handed it to the lady behind the desk. He signed a form and then they were off.

(Back in the car)

Benson: "Did you really mean what you said back there about wanting to be in Noah's life?"

Barba: "100%. You guys are a package deal and I know that. He is your greatest source of joy and I want to be in on that too."

Benson: "I love you so much!" 

Barba: "I love you too!"

Barba drove Liv to the station and when she walked inside, everyone ran up and hugged her.

Benson: "Why is everyone so happy to see me?"

Tutuola: "We've been calling you non-stop"

Liv looked down at her phone and realized that she had 32 missed calls.

Benson: "Oh my god guys, I'm so sorry! What's so important?"

Rollins: "It's Lewis."

Benson: "What about him."

Amaro: "He's escaped custody."
