Barson- I need you

New Apartment

**This chapter takes place 2 months after the last chapter.**

It was seven in the morning and Noah started crying. Liv rolled over and hit Barba in the chest.

Benson: "Babe, can you go grab him?"

Barba: "Sure. Do you want to start breakfast?"

Benson: "Yeah, just give me a second."

Barba got up and walked down the small hallway and picked up Noah and walked with him back towards the living room.

Barba: "Liv, you gotta get up. We have to make breakfast and get to work."

Benson: "Ok."

Liv got up and started walking towards the living room. All of a sudden, she stopped in her tracks and grabbed onto the wall. Rafael put Noah down and ran next to her.

Barba: "Hey look at me... what's wrong."

Benson: "I'm feeling really..." With that, Liv passed out into Barba's arms. 

Barba: "Oh god... um hijo... can you pass me my phone?"

Noah came running over with Rafael's phone and then Barba dialed 911. After he was off the phone with the operator, he called Lucy to come and bring Noah to daycare. The ambulance got there just as Liv was coming to and Lucy was walking out the door with Noah. They got her into the ambulance and Barba climbed in the back with them.

Barba: "Hey honey, how are you feeling."

Benson: "A bit better."

Just then, Barba's phone rang and he answered it.

Barba (on the phone): "Yeah thanks for calling.... you're sure?... oh my gosh that's great... I can't wait to tell her... thank you so much, have a nice day."

Benson: "What was that about?"

Barba: "Well, a few weeks ago, I put an offer in on a new apartment and..."

Benson: "Rafi, you shouldn't make these big decisions without me."

Barba: "I wasn't trying to go behind your back, I wanted to surprise you and then I was thinking we could discuss it if they accepted my offer."

Benson: "Well, let's at least go see it when I get out of the hospital."

The ambulance arrived at the hospital and they took Liv into a room. They drew her blood and took her vitals.

Doctor: "Well, Ms. Benson, it seems as though you may have had a case of orthostatic hypotension. It's not a big deal so luckily you're going to be just fine."

Barba: "So what exactly is this orthostatic hypotension?"

Doctor: "Basically what it means is that you probably just moved too fast which caused your blood pressure to drop. You can go home as soon as we're done here. I just need you to sign a few forms."

Benson: "Ok, thank you so much."

The doctor handed Liv the forms and she signed them. Barba hailed a taxi and they got in the car to go home. When they got home they walked inside and Liv plopped herself down on the couch. 

Barba: "Hey hon, what do you want me to make for lunch?"

Benson: "I'm not really sure but maybe we could cook together."

After a few minutes of debating, they finally decided that they were going to make quesadillas. Liv got up and put on an apron and the two of them started to cook. Barba put on music and Liv began to sway her hips to the beat. 

Barba: "Damn Liv, you look so hot right now."

Liv walked up to Barba and put her hands on her hips.

Benson: "I love you so fucking much Rafael Barba."

The two of them kissed and then they went back to finishing the quesadillas. They ate and then when they were done, they just sat at the table discussing their wedding plans. 

Barba: "Hey Liv, I know that we're talking about our wedding plans right now but I was wondering if you wanted to come and see the apartment."

Benson: "That sounds great Rafi. But I'm just letting you know now that this is not me agreeing that we are going to buy the apartment."

Barba: "Ok Liv. I only want to buy something that you are completely comfortable with."

Liv grabbed her jacket and Barba grabbed his keys. They got into the car and Barba started driving. When they got to the building they got out and Liv looked around.

Benson: "Well, so far I'm liking the idea of this apartment. This is a great neighborhood and it's so much closer to Noah's daycare and the precinct. And look, it's right across the street to a beautiful playground!"

They walked inside and as soon as they got into the apartment Liv's jaw dropped and she started crying.

Barba: "Liv what's wrong, is this not what you wanted?"

Benson: "No, it's just perfect!"

Barba: "Ok, I'll call up the agent and have him draw up the papers."

The two of them kissed and got back into the car and went back home.
