Chapter 15

Hey guys! I'm soo sorry for the late update. Real life catches up with you fast .. and sticks. I tried to make this chapter a little longer, enjoy :)

"Lucifer what happened there?! The doctor is saying she is fine, but it's like... she doesn't want to wake up."

"Detective.. I.."

"Ellieee~" his voice was the same as when we were going after Renny, terrifying! I was running as fast as I can from him, it was the same building we were in then, but this time it was me running from him.

I climbed the ladder and tried to close the door but to no avail he burst through. "Lucifer-"

"Your time is over, Ellion!" He smiled creepily as he took slow steps towards me while mine matched his but backwards, "you will tell me everything, Everything you know love. Everything!" His face transformed to someone else entirely. Brown hair, grey eyes... I know this guy!

My eyes fluttered slowly open, to white walls and steady beats. I looked around slowly and tried to find anyone who could help me. Unlike the last time, there was no nurse in the room. My entire body felt completely bulldozed. Every bone hurt, every muscle sore. My head hurts every time I move it.

This is how a bug feels probably when it's squashed by a boot. What happened anyways? I need to find any nurse. Just as I thought that, I found one of the nurses coming in. "Finally, you woke up. I was beginning to think that you weren't going to." The nurse said cheerfully. Well that's reassuring. Note sarcasm. "I'm going to call the doctor now." She smiled one last time then went out after checking all the monitors and iv I was plugged into.

I can remember what happened but it feels like I just woke up from a nightmare. There was something important but I couldn't remember what it was..  before I could think about it more I found the doctor coming in. He was holding a clipboard and looked in his early forties. "How are we feeling Ms. Anderson?" I don't know how we're feeling doctor, You're supposed to tell me!

The doctor continued to check all the machines beside me, "You were in quite an accident. Thankfully, your injuries weren't very bad, but you took quite a while to wake up. We'll have to make brain scans and regular checkups in order to make sure that no brain damage has been made. Also I would suggest you take it easy the next two weeks since your body has just woken up from a two week coma—"

"Two weeks!" I exclaimed or at least tried to since all that came out was a lot of coughing and rasping.

"However, it seems for now that all your vitals are in good shape. You can go back home by the end of the week. Also please try to minimize your talking till your voice feels okay just to be sure that no damage has happened to the vocal cords." The doctor said ignoring my rasping fit. He went out of the room to leave me with my thoughts.

What the hell happened? Ok let's rewind.. I was in the car with Lucifer and Decker, then.. Lucifer went after Renny and.. oh my God! His eyes and face!

One would've thought that the second time would've been easier. Apparently, it was much worse. Yay!

I can't believe I've gotten over the whole devil thing so easily before.

It's probably because he's hot!

Yeah he is hot, still.. he is the freaking devil! I need to stay away from him.

But he is still the key somehow to you getting back so you can't stay away or you're gonna be doomed!

Sometimes I hate that your right brain.

I'll figure it out later. I closed my eyes as I laid back and drifted to sleep. The next day I found Chloe entering the room. To say I went still would be an understatement, I became a freaking statue!!! I thought Lucifer would be with her, but felt very relieved when he wasn't there.

"Ellion, hey are you okay? You made us worried sick." She came and gave me a hug. My eyes widened in surprise. I didn't think she would care about what happened to me. When she let go, I blinked surprised then smiled genuinely at her.

"I'll go check if there is anything left with the procedures of checking you out of the hospital then we can go home." Chloe looked at me expecting any answer but I couldn't answer her. No harm in trying though right? I opened my mouth and tried to talk, "th..anks.." I hope my voice returns fast. This whole rasping thing is kinda annoying!

She smiled and put something on the bed stand beside me before leaving. I turned to look at it and found it was a rose on the table with a small card taped to it, Hope you get well soon love. Lucifer

Aww.. that's so sweet, I'm in love! I started spacing out thinking about Lucifer. Not!

Hope you get well?.. seriously! Ohhh.. so I can just get well after seeing his real face for the second time?! The first one was terrifying enough, thank you very much! He looked scary enough at the time with his human face to make me run for the hills...

I don't think I've ever seen him this terrifying.. I mean of course I saw him on the show but.. I definitely underestimated the safety given off being inside a tv screen. This is a bit too much..

You don't really have a choice do you.

Yes but I don't think I can keep on seeing his transformations they get more frightening each time!

Best thing is to ignore it. Ignore him altogether till I can unsee it.

I pocketed the card and held the rose just as Chloe entered and we went to the car together. As soon as I entered the house, I sat on the nearest chair. I opened my mouth trying to talk but still all that came out was a rasping voice. Chloe brought me a glass which I gulped down quickly. This time when I tried to talk, my voice actually came out but was still a bit weak.

"You're .. probably wondering.. why I ran like a lunatic." I said grimacing a little.

"I understand if you want to rest right now. We can talk later. I didn't bring Lucifer with me to the hospital though he wanted to come. I'm feeling this had something to do with him, right?" She looked at me expectantly with curiosity in her eyes. This will really affect their relationship so I shouldn't tell her much.

"Well you see Chloe, I actually saw Lucifer's real face for the second time and I wanted to jump after the man from the roof, but I'm from a different world so it wouldn't have been good if I died in a tv show, right? Oh did I also mention that he's really the devil and that he has creepy as hell red eyes, get it? Because he is the devil.. and creepy as..hell.. Never Mind! This is the part where you send me to loony house, I'll go grab my stuff!" She gaped at me and then picked up her phone and called the hospital-

"-llie, Ellie, Ellion!" Chloe's voice cut me out of the scenario I just made up.

"Huh what?" I snapped out of my thoughts. I think I keep reassuring her that I definitely have brain damage!

"Does this have anything to do with Lucifer?"

"Well you see Chloe.." No squeaky voice, no squeaky voice!
