CHAPTER 32

"Bea..."

"Ate Bei"

"Open the door, please."

It's been a week after that incident, and Bea was becoming way more miserable as each day passed.

She locked inside her room for seven days, to be exact. All she relied on food is the small amounts of biscuits stocked inside her refrigerator.

It didn't affect her in any way, though. She doesn't have the appetite, and all she did on the whole day was to cry, sleep, and stare at nowhere.

She didn't want to interact with people, as she was scared that maybe them, too, would add to the pain she's feeling right now.

So basically, a cracker would be enough for her to atleast survive physically.

But not emotionally.

Man, if only someone knew what she's been going through inside the four corners of that room.

"Bea, we brought your favorite dish! We went all the way from Pasig just to buy these." Kat gently said.

"Now if you can open the door for us---"

"I'm not hungry." Bea coldly said inside the room.

"But..."

"Let her be." Jules stopped the others from forcing Bea.

"Tayo nalang kumain, sayang" Deanna said and started eating the food.

But it didn't even earned a smile from the team.

"What now?" Ponggay let out a breath.

"Sino pa kaya pwede natin tawagan to talk to Bea?" Maddie asked.

"I know. Ate Ly!" Deanna enthusiastically said.

"She's in Thailand with the national team." Kat informed.

"Oh right. How about ate Den?" Deanna once again suggested.

"Deanna, national team." Kat massaged her eyebrows.

"Really? How about ate Jia--"

"National team!" Kat couldn't resist her annoyance so she pinched the latter's ear.

"ouch ouch ouch"

"Oh ayan, lineup ng NT, kakaloka ka." Jho handed her phone to Deanna.

"Any more suggestions?" Maddie boredly said.

"Cel and Maki?"

"Maki tried to talk to her last Thursday right? No use. And Cel is in America." Jules shook her head.

"RK naman kasi ng mga barkada ni Bea, halos lahat nasa ibang bansa. Wag nalang tayo magulat na yung isa nasa Neptune na." Jho said in defeat.

"Who else?"

"I know." Deanna suddenly said. "How about KKD, Aaron, EJ, Bacon, Anton, Isa, Jigs, Br---"

"That's right! Jigs!" Maddie clapped her hands. "Finally, may tama ka ring sinabi, Deanna Wong."

They decided to call Jigs, and just a few minutes later, he arrived at the De Leon's residence.

"Can you atleast give it a try?" Ponggay asked.

Jigs nodded and slowly knocked at the door.

"Bei, it's me, Jigs."

But they didn't got a response from the latter.

"Can I...talk to you? Just for a while?"

Still, silence.

They were at the midst of giving up, when suddenly, a miracle happened.
