CHAPTER 22

"Stop!"

Silence.

All of them were shocked as the person stood infront of the guns.

"B-brent..."

"Hanggang kailan niyo pa balak gawin to? Ang dami na nating kasalanan oh." Brent said, full of guilt.

"Why do you care about them anyway?" Billie rolled her eyes.

"Wala silang kasalanan, Billie."

"You don't even know those people behind you." Ricci said coldly.

"And so do you. Nakikilala mo lang sila from what they did wrong. But you forgot all the good things they've done."

Brent looked at Billie and Prince.

"Even if nasaktan nila kayo, kahit papaano, napasaya naman nila kayo diba?" He continued.

"You don't understand, Brent. Because you never experienced love. You don't know what it feels not being loved back." Prince said without showing any emotion.

Brent inhaled deeply.

"Believe me, Prince. I know."

Prince and Ricci sadly looked at their friend as they slowly loose the grip to their guns.

"Enough of these drama." Billie grabbed Prince's gun. "Stop acting like a hero to Thirdy and Bea, this ain't a movie."

Brent looked sharply at Billie.

"You know what? This isn't just about Thirdy and Bea anymore. It's about the people around them na nadamay because of your stupidness."

"Now you're being a hero to these Eagles now. Ano ba yan Brent, hindi lang sila ang naaapektuhan dito." Billie laughed sarcastically.

"You're right, Billie. Hindi lang sila. Pati kayo, nabibigyan rin ng problema. Pati ako." Brent said.

"Hindi sana kami magkakaroon ng problema kung hindi dahil kay Thirdy at Bea." Billie rolled her eyes again.

"At hindi rin sana ako magkakaroon ng problema kung hindi dahil sainyo."

All of them were shocked about what Brent just said.

"You wouldn't have problems kung sumunod ka lang sa mga pinapagawa namin." Billie debated.

"So you're expecting na susunod ako sa mga masasamang bagay na pinapagawa niyo?"

"We...we didn't know all of these will happen." Ricci said, full of regret.

"What a stupid reason." Brent chuckled bitterly.

"We were eaten by anger. We didn't know what we're doing." Prince said.

"You knew in the first place that all of these will happen! You knew that someone might get killed, you knew someone might be affected badly, but you still continued your plans!"

Brent clenched his fist.

"You planned everything. You ruined everything." Thirdy said underneath his breath.

Thirdy was about to say something again when Brent suddenly spoke.

"I also knew that your plans will put you guys in great danger, that's why I keep disagreeing with you and your plans."

*flashback*

After Thirdy's car left the gasoline station, Prince took out his phone and called Ricci.

"That's it. He's already calling Ricci. I can't stop them anymore." Brent said, full of regret.

But Brent was snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed a security guard heading towards Prince.
