The Missing And The Found

(skip the rest of class and the drive home)  (i  do not take credit for this video i found it on you-tube i was using it as Shiloh and her dad sing i do not take credit)

I walked through the door and yelled 

"i'm home" but no reply so i went up upstairs and my dad was in the music room playing guitar its a wonder he couldn't here me and he was playing a song i knew all to well the song he used to sing to me and sky before she died. (song above) so i started to sing along. as i walked over and sat down next to him and was singing whiles he was playing. a few minutes later the song came to an end i was crying and my dad pulled me in for a hug.

"its okay pal your okay" my dad calmly said 

as i sobbed i let out a quiet whisper 

"i miss her so much" 

he rubbed my back and whispered 

"i do too pal i do too" 

i had finally stopped crying and i stood up and wiped my face with my hand and apologized to my dad for crying like i did  .

" no worries bud go clean up and change into something comfy and he can start our movie marathon okay" 

"okay ill meet you down in about 15 minutes" 

i walked to my room and i got some clothes some make up wipes and cleaned off my make up took out my contacts and put on my glasses. I walked down stairs ad went to the kitchen to help get snacks i got down a bowl for chips and a bowl for popcorn and two glasses put some ice in each cup and then filled them with tea while my dad was putting the fresh made microwave popcorn in a bag into the bowl and grabbing down 4 different kinds of chip and putting an even amount of each in the bowl for us to eat.

we grabbed our drinks and our snacks and carried everything into the living room. we set everything down and looked at the endless shelves of movies to watch i started out with a favorite of mine and Sky's monsters inc. we watch this every time the anniversary comes around i know your probably like this is a snooze fest  and your probably saying it was 10 years ago get over it but those 10 years did not help me get over missing my sister.
