Third Person's P.O.V.

The young fire dragon slayer sat near the fountain in the center of the town with one leg crossed over the other. Though his eyes were closed, his other senses were on high alert for any sort of noise or unusual scent. A blue flying cat stayed up in the air for surveillance. His cat ears twitching in fear and excitement. The setting sun gave the sky a burning orange hue and its light giving less as it descends. Shadows were made from the ruins of the town making it harder to figure if someone was hiding in them or not. The town was still. No animal nor human dared to move or make a single sound. The villagers already hid in a building's basement. Each of them terrified of what would

happen with the battle that would soon began as the burning star sets and disappears.

Natsu was still. His calm was odd for him since he was usually giddy when it comes to brawls. His face was expressionless. His fingers balled up in a tight fist. The small spark inside him slowly growing with each passing second. His mouth set in a tight line.

'Where are those creepy bastards?!'

'Relax will ya? That sun is about to disappear so they'll be here in a sec.'

His consciousness spoke for him.

'Great....I'm talkin' to myself....'He retorted sarcastically.

'Ok smartass...Let's face it. We're just bored waiting...'That little voice spoke again.

'Shut up.. I'm trying to concentrate here.. 'Natsu growled slightly.

Natsu was alone with his own thoughts once again. He heaved a breathy sigh and opened his eyes halfway. The sky was already losing its glow. More than half of the sun has vanished from the sky and only a small ring is left. The shadows grew darker and it made the town dimmer. From above, Happy kept watch-alert and ready.

With the last light gone, a howl was heared.

Natsu bolted straight up. His fists alight. Even from afar, Natsu could smell the stench of rotten fruits and death coming in super speed. The pinkette's features were sharp. His teeth gritted, his muscles tense and attentive, his narrowed eyes as he glanced at every corner and the fire in him burning more than a spark.

Another deathly howl filled the silent premises and it seemed to have been closer.

Natsu readied himself for what will come and he saw a figure..no..figures...move in the shadows. They have glowing red eyes.

As they came closer Natsu's breath was caught in his throat.

Those demons have horns of a bull and their skin is red with spots of green. Their fangs as huge as a lions and they were about the size of a wolf only twice as big. They have scales around their neck and talons like an eagle's. The head was like a giant monitor lizard and so does their scaly long tail with spikes on the end. They crouched on all fours with their talons digging the soil
