Selena's POV

The alarm clock started blaring and took me out of my sleep. I stretched my arms, yawning a little. My vision was blurred due to how much I wanted to sleep still.

Unlike any other mornings, I woke up with cold empty space beside me. The feeling was strange. These passed weeks, I was used to having Justin snuggled with me every time my eyes flutter open. Having his face buried on the crook of my neck and his bright smile lighting up my whole morning. But this morning's different, I was cold and alone.

I look at the stupid alarm clock at the nightstand, it reads 5:31 a.m. Why so early? I groaned and fall back on the bed, rolling up the sheets up to my face. As far as I remember I didn't set the alarm at 5:30, maybe Justin did. But where is he?

Knowing that I wouldn't be able to sleep any more, I climbed out of the bed and did my morning routine consisting of brushing my teeth, changing my clothes, etc... before scrambling down the steps with a sleepy yawn.

I thought Justin would be in the kitchen so I hurried there with a silly smile but I saw nothing. He was not there. I tried to hide the frown as I brew myself some coffee and for Justin too.

Three hours and two cups of coffee later, I was now dressed in my working clothes and doing my make up, getting ready for my first photoshoot for Puma. I only put minimal amount of make up since I know the crew will be doing it again later.

After I was done, I checked my phone if Justin has replied to my texts. My face lights up when I see five unread messages. I open the first one and it was from my mom, replying in my good morning with a long text telling me about their day.

The next one was from my stepbrother, Zayn, asking me when will I ever be home, and with a sad pout he told me he misses his SellyBear. I chuckled at that. I haven't been home since we got back because I stayed at Justin's almost every day. I text him back, I will. Miss you too, dudeee xxx

The other two were from Madison asking me how I have been, she misses me and wanting to hang out with me. Since I am free later, I texted her okay, miss you too with a cheeky smile.

I thought the last one was from Justin, telling me where he was but I was wrong. It was from the least person I was expecting to message me; Charlie. I bare myself to absorb what he has to say. If he knew about me and Justin—which is if not I'll be the one to confess it to him personally as soon as possible— I know it to myself that he has the right to be angry at me. I have betrayed him. I've lied to him. Now I'll have to swallow all the consequences.

What he sent me was so unexpected. It was so darn surprising. After all these weeks all he has to say to me was Hi’? A simple hi that I don't know if has any hidden meaning in it.

Regardless to that, I still feel bad. I can't bear to lie and hide from him anymore. He has the right to know. A soft sigh escaped my lips as I typed, Hey. Charlie, can we talk?, then I hit send.

I texted Justin once again before I left his house, hoping he'll reply this time.

~♥~

“Jack Gilinsky.”

I crossed my legs, then fold my arms across my chest as I raised my eyebrows at her. Madison blushes wildly, her cheeks turning pink as she bites her lips.

I knew it from the first place that she has crush on him. And for sure he does too. They could really make a good couple but that would need a little push, oh no scratch that, I meant a heavy shove.

I cracked a knowing smile before pressing further at the topic. “So you would choose Jack Gilinsky over oozing hotness Channing Tatum? Why's that?”

She shrugged. “Uh, let's not just talk about that man anymore. You just made me choose and I guess, I have to say my pick. Jack Gilinsky, there's that. Nothing more.”

“But I can smell something more.”

She just rolled her eyes at me before taking a sip of her drink. “You sure do.”

“Anyway, since we're talking about men...” she trailed off, a smirk forming on her lips before resuming, “why don't we talk about your man?”

Charlie's face popped in my head but soon faded away and Justin's face appeared with his boyish smile. Choosing the safest word as possible, I replied, “good.”

Madison snorted and look at me boring. She turn her head side to side, giving me a firm head shake.

“What?”

“Come on, tell me about it. I won't judge. If I would have known, I shouldn't have set you up with that Charlie man.”

That rings a bell. Madison already knew about me and Justin. It suddenly occurred me that maybe, just maybe, all of them already knew about it. Maybe it was all over the internet and I was oblivious to it. Just thinking of Charlie knowing about it from anyone else but me sicken me. Betraying him will hurt him but finding out about it from the others will hurt more. Of course, just maybe and I hope not.

“You knew?”

She smiled then nodded her head. From the way she's looking at me it was no problem to her. Like she supports me with this even if it is wrong.

She clasped her hands together, she propped on her elbows with a teasing look all over her beautiful features. “Now, tell me about it.”

“There's nothing really to tell."

“Come on. I've been sitting around waiting for you to tell me about it. But you didn't,” she stopped and I bite my lip. Then she smiles again, “but it was reasonable. So it's cool, babe.’’

So I ended up telling Madison the story. She was tentatively listening, slightly a little too giggly, adding her comments every time I paused and reassuring me at the end. Probably because she can't keep it anymore to herself, she started to open up about Jack and their relationship. She said Jack has been the sweetest guy she ever met, and like a school girl in tiny skirts, she told me; “I'm falling for him.”

“Ugh, I really had fun today. So sad the day's over.”

She throw her arms over at me and give me air kisses. When she pulled away, I finally collected myself to ask her. “How did you know about me and Justin?”

She smiles, “he phoned me this morning. I was surprised to receive a call from him since the last time was bad... He talked a lot then I asked about you. Then it slipped in. I caught it. He even asked me to meet up with him next—Oh, wait, you didn't know about this?”

“N-No.”
