It's past midnight, what the heck am I doing in this app! Here's another update! xxx

After a few minutes of being stuck in a traffic due to road reconstruction, I finally got home still confused and slightly fuming. I may be childish to feel so but there's just something wrong with Justin. I felt annoyed. How come he phoned Madison but not even reply to a text I sent him? And he's asking her to meet up with him?

Maybe I sound like a clingy girlfriend, but what the fuck. They aren't even friends to even start off. He said he doesn't even like her. Now he actually called him but me.

I won't start with the cheating accusations because I know it's not happening. I trust Justin. And in fact, Madison's really into Jack. But what just confuses me is why he was suddenly avoiding me?

“You're finally home,” said with a gruff voice. I look up, and see Justin standing on the stairs with his arms crossed around his front.

So he was upset because I just got home? Says the jerk who didn't reply to me but had time to call anyone else.

“Hi,’’ I replied in a clipped tone.

He hummed, “have you eaten dinner already? We could order some—”

“I already had dinner.”

“With a nice and cute guy?” I knew he was playing with me but I am in no mood to do so.

“You? Where were you? With some girl who wasn't me?” I said, my tone was sharper and harsher than I intended to.

“Oh, chill. What's gotten into you?”

Still slightly brewing, I didn't reply. I sighed and make my way towards him. He was still watching me intently as I walk past him. He didn't stopped me but I heard him sigh.

I put my purse down the bed and take out new clothes from Justin's dresser. I grabbed a plain black t-shirt and some yoga pants. Just as I was putting the t-shirt on, Justin walked in with the same expression he had in the steps. I quickly slip my head in the shirt covering up from his sight.

“What's the problem? Please talk to me.”

I almost laugh at his question. Since I was better than that, I replied quietly, ‘‘Bad day. Just that.”

He heaved a heavy sigh then he walk towards me and I felt the urge to step back. Instead I stayed still until he was in front of me. He looked into my eyes then I felt his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him.

“Selena, I want to work us out. Lying would do no good to us.”

He just reminded me that. I can't believe him. “Then tell me where were you today.”

“I was in the studio. I recorded a new song,” he leaned down to kiss my lips and I let him, “and it was about you.”

I felt my cheeks heating up but I remind myself that he could be lying. “Then why weren't you answering my texts?”

His reply was tight and fast. Very suspicious. “My phone's dead.”

“Your phone's dead this morning?”

“Yes.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, Selena. Why are you digging into it?” he said with an exasperated breath.

I push off him then crossed my arms. Ask him, Selena. Get it through your guts. “Did you call anyone this morning?”

He quickly shake his head. “No. How could I do that? My battery's dead. Come on.”
