Graysons POV

As I went to knock for the third time, I remembered that Emma left her car keys at our place - and I had put them in my pocket to take round to hers, today.

Emma and Ella were best friends, basically cousins - too.

So obviously, Emma had Ella's spare key, and Ella had Emma's. I selected the only other key, which was the one for Ella's door.

I put they key in, and opened the door. Emma was right, it was all dark. Doors shut, lights off, curtains shut.

It was light outside though, meaning it was still light inside of her apartment.

I first looked around the front room & kitchen. The whole time repeating 'El? It's Gray!'.

I slowly opened the door to her bedroom, and I saw her phone, on Twitter, laying in her hand.

I ran over as quick as I could, trying not to panic. She was laying on the floor, struggling to breathe, shaking - yet gripping her phone tight.

'Ella! Baby you're okay. Baby I'm here. Breathe baby. You're okay Ella. El you're okay. Just breathe El. I've got you baby. Ella I've got you.'

I repeated over and over.

I scooted over, sitting behind her - laying her head in between my legs, pulling her up slightly so she was leaning against my chest. I wrapped my arms around her, playing with her hair and speaking the same words over and over into her ear.

I was so focused to calm her down that I didn't even look at anything else. I realised whenever she looked at her phone even more tears started streaming down her face - and she started shaking more. Trembling. Her breathing was going back to how it was. This never happened to me. Once I calmed down, I never went back into it. This was bad.

It suddenly clicked that it was because she looked at her phone. I ripped it out of her hand and switched it off.

I turned her round, making her face me. I wrapped her shaking legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. I leant her head into my shoulder and rubbed her back.

It took an hour, two hours before she could breathe semi normally again. She kept hiccuping slightly, but she was still trembling.

I went to stand up, and sit on the bed with her, but that's when I saw.

There was a razor blade on her side table, blood over her white bed sheets. She didn't realise I had noticed. I looked down, and the black top she was wearing had a brown hint on her left side. I knew. I looked at her leg, and my heart broke.

The new cuts, old scars, and everything in between were on her leg. And nobody had put them there, nobody apart from herself. A few tears fell from my eye as I realised how shitty I had been. I grabbed multiple outfits for her, and stuffed them in a bag. I grabbed what I thought she needed and then carried her to my car, strapped her in, and drove back to mine and Ethan's. She still had no idea that I knew.

But she was still trembling like crazy.
