Ethan's POV
The door suddenly swung open. It was 3am, and Grayson had been gone since half 7.
'Grayson where the fuck where you?'
Pure anger, that was the only emotion I felt until I looked up, and I saw the almost lifeless girl Grayson was carrying.
'Holy shit.'
Was the only words I could say. A tear slid down Grays face, and it's not often he would cry in front of somebody, let alone for them. He carried her towards his room, as I followed. That's when my brain clicked. Ella.Graysons POV
The whole car ride was the worst thing. She wouldn't look at me, she wouldn't talk to me.
And we all know, everybody who's knows Ella knows she is the absolute worst in awkward situations. She'll do anything to change it, she hates them. But today, it was different.
'El baby?'
She turned her head more, so she was facing out of the window and I couldn't see her face. I left it a minute or two, but still she didn't reply.
'Baby look at me?'
My voice broke slightly at the end of my sentence and obviously, she noticed.
'I'm sorry.'
Tears fell from her face, but that's all she could think to say.
And.
And I thought my heart couldn't break anymore than it has currently.
I pulled up to mine and Ethan's drive, and gradually unbuckled my seatbelt.
I knew, for a fact, than Ethan would be mad at me once I walked in. It was currently 3am, and I hadn't even texted him. I pushed the thought aside, and went over to Ella's side. She just sat there, staring into nothing out of the window. Completely blank.
I opened the car door, gaining her attention. She looked everywhere but at me - her red, puffy face. Even though I haven't ever seen somebody so broken, she was still gorgeous.
'Common baby.'
I unbuckled her belt, and she slowly let it glide across. I put my arm in-front of her, to help her up.
'No.'
No emotion this time, just blank.
'El common I'll help you.'
'No.'
This time slightly louder, yet still - empty.
'Ella. Common.'
'No!'
She shouted at me, completely out of character. It threw me off a bit, but I had to stay persistent.
'Ella. Now.'
I grabbed her hand, gently, pulling her up. Obviously, she was being difficult and was not cooperating. I chuckled to myself,
'Baby please, I'm just trying to help.'
She nodded. Looking at me, this time making eye contact. Her red, bloodshot eyes looked like they hurt, they looked raw and painful.
This time, I pulled her gently to the end of the seat, and picked her up. I wrapped her legs around my waist, and her arms around my neck. She was so light, lighter than paper. I had to push that thought to the side - I'll deal with it later.
I had to do most of the work, her grip was so week that her legs kept undoing around my waist. So I held her up, terrified of letting her go.
I left the car unlocked, with her bag. Opening the front door.
'Grayson where the fuck were you?'
Anger.
Anger was the only thing you could hear in Ethan's voice.
He looked up, his face dropping.
'Holy shit.'
A tear slid down my face, and Ella had started shaking, even more, from his shouting. I slowly carried her to my room, Ethan just watching.
Suddenly, he walked up fast behind me - realising who the almost dead girl was. Ella.
