"I'm sorry to drop by without notice. I, I just hope you could help me, John..."

She looks awful. It's his old friend, Sarah Lee. Her hair has a line of gray despite she hasn't reached forty years old. John asks, "It has been a while, Sarah. What could I do for you?"

"I couldn't afford your fee, Doc. Could you listen to me? As an old friend? And maybe giving me suggestions?" pleads her weakly.

Fluttershy, one of the ponies in My Little Pony (cartoon movies for kids). They used to call her Fluttershy behind her back at high School. She's kind but a meek girl. Other kids used to bully her, treating her like a door mat.

John remembered she's a friendly girl. Sometimes she even gave him free lunch at lunchtime.

John says, "Of course. We are friends, aren't we? Why don't you sit down and have something to eat and drink?"

John texts his wife to bring in some cakes and herbal tea for them.

Marianne delivers them quickly. She's eyeing her a bit suspiciously. After what happened to Dianne, she got this bad habit. Can't blame her. One of John's old friends kidnapped him before.

John says, "Please sit down. This is no formal session. I need your opinion on this, Marianne." His wife looks surprised but she complies. They eat the cake and drink the herbal tea.

John finally asks, "Could you start from the beginning, Sarah?" She looks nervous when she says, "I shouldn't have bothered you, John..."

She tries to rise but John puts a hand on her shoulder. He says, "Please sit down. You have been good to me in high school. Let me return the favor." Sarah finally sits down again. She sighs and stares to the ceiling.

Pink polkadots flamingos and white clouds painted there. Weird taste!

John stares upward. And he comments, "The artist is one of the kind. A bit looney in my opinion." His wife scolds him with her eyes. Everyone in the hospital knows he's the painter.

Sarah sighs. Finally she says, "Life used to be perfect for me. I love my family. Cooking for them. Taking care of them." "And then?" asks John.

Sarah continues, "My kids grew up too soon. They are going to college next week. And I'm left with nothing to do at home. My husband died last year. I, I have nothing left. No, no one left waiting me at home."

Marianne suddenly says, "I know that feelings too well, Sarah. You felt lost. Don't know what to do with your life anymore. I got my mom and little Isabella when Tim divorced me..."

John holds her hand and squeezees it a little. He smiles to his wife and she smiles back to him. John says, "You need to make new goals in your life, Sarah. Your kids have moved on. It's time you move on too."

"But, but I... I don't know what to do. Not anymore..."

John rubs his chin. He asks, "How about money?" "My husband has two apartments in NY. I have rented one of them. So I'm cool for this moments. The kids got their own scholarships."
