We went to an inn to rest for the night, but I had other plans. I went up to Yamada as she slept and kissed her forehead, I slipped my mask on, a hand grabbed my hand as I turned around, "You better come back to me Fugiyama Hiragashi" Yamada said, "I will I promise" she let go of my arm and I left the room and went to the room Noroshi was in.
"Akuma come" I said quietly, Akuma got up from Noroshi's bedside and followed me out into the town. As we got outside the town and began to head to our home, I unequipped my trident and equipped my scorpion tail.
"These bastards want a fight, I'll give them one" I spun the chains around my wrists and got onto Akuma's back, "Let's go Akuma" Akuma began to sprint towards the house. The house was still in flame but was no longer standing, I got off Akuma's back and began to look around. Akuma began to growl at the trees, I turn around and let my daggers fall so they only hung by about the chain, "Come out, I know you are here" I yelled towards the few trees, as I did eight men dropped from the trees with sickening smiles, most of them had basic spears and swords, but one of them stuck out, a man in black armor with a scythe. His helmet looked like a cackling demon that had a slot for his mouth to show, his armor had the Laughing Coffin symbol on the chest and was matte black.
"The boss was right, at leas one dumbass would show up" the men around him laughed, "Looks like you have a death wish kid" he motioned for them to move forward.
"Akuma don't let any of them live" I spun my daggers and threw one into the closest person and pulled him forward as Akuma leaped and began to maul a swordsman till he died. I stepped forward into the spearman I pulled forward, wrapped my chain around his throat, and stabbed my dagger into his chest. I could feel the blood rushing through my veins with rage, a swordsman and a spearman rushed me, I kicked the man around my chain into the spearman's spear as I wrapped my other chain around my hand and grabbed the blade of the swordsman, yanking it out of his hand. I threw his sword and jabbed him in the chest knocking him to the ground. These guys weren't prepared for Akuma, he ripped one after another a new one as he fought, "Akuma get back" I said as he was about to attack the man with scythe, Akuma went behind me and sat down. The man wrapped around my chain shattered as his health hit zero, I yanked my daggers back into my hands and stepped back. The man with the scythe walked forward and cut the swordsman's head off, shattering him instantly.
"You are all useless" he grabbed the spearman and rammed his scythe into his back and pulled up, splitting him in half and shattering him. Something clicked in my mind, I realized who this man was, Horibashi The Reaper, one of the most deadly members of Laughing Coffin, wanted for over 100 murders. I smiled and wrapped my chains around my fists, "So Horibashi, are we gonna just stand here or are we gonna dance"
