Horibashi smiled and twirled his scythe, "Take your mask off, I want to see the look on your face when I kill you" I laughed and unequipped my mask and put my hood down, "Remember this face good, because this will be the face that ends you" I began to sprint towards him. He laughed and swung his scythe in front of him, I blocked it with the chain around my hands and kicked him in the chest, but my kick was stopped mid way. I looked up to see he had caught my foot, he picked me up by the and threw my towards the burning house.
"You're good kid but that won't keep you alive" he opened his menu and tapped on a skill, his scythe began to glow as a second blade come out of the bottom but it pointed in the opposite direction, he unequipped his armor and had a black hood with smoke colored leather armor. He put his hood down and his face was tattooed with a skull. My heart dropped in sudden realization of what he did, "You were a beta tester" he laughed at my response, "As were you, what a shame the beta was wasted on such useless people" I got up as he walked towards me, "At least it gives me something to kill" he began to unleash attack after attack, I tried to keep up with him and block, but I was unable to block all of them. I fell to the ground as my health began to get into the red, he picked me up by my throat, "You were a fool for coming alone" I began to laugh at him, "You thought I came alone" he threw me to the ground raised his scythe and began to swing downwards. It stopped midway by an ivory sword, "He did tell you didn't come alone" Itashi hit Horibashi's scythe back and slashed across his chest, "Regain your health I can buy you some time" he stood in front of me, "Thanks bro" I began to drink health potions as fast as I could. My health went back to full, I jumped up, and started sprinting up behind Itashi, "Itashi down" he ducked and I leaped over him and threw my daggers into Horibashi's shoulders. Itashi rushed to his side a and began to drive him towards the edge of the platform, I ran behind Horibashi and wrapped one of the chains around his throat. Horibashi began to struggle trying to fend off Itashi and get the chain off his neck. When he finally got the chain off he was at the edge of the platform, "Akuma now" Itashi moved back as Akuma ran into Horibashi, clasping his jaws around his leg, and jumping into the water. When he got hit he dropped his scythe, we watched as the second blade disappeared. Akuma stuck his head out of the water and barked, "Good boy come here Akuma" he swam faster than anything I have ever seen to the nearest platform, hopped onto it and ran towards us. I pet him on the head and looked towards our burning home as the sun rised, "Well so much for our new home" Itashi laughed, I stood there and looked into the distance and sighed, "None the less Shinsuo, we are no longer safe, back when we were leaving guess who I saw" Itashi looked at me concerned, "What are you talking about" he asked, "When we were leaving the fire I looked back and saw one of the Laughing Coffin, but something stuck out" Itashi scratched his head as I said this, "He was holding a cleaver" I reequiped my trident and put it on my back, "Like the one we saw when we saved Yamada" he laid in the grass and covered his face groaning, "We are being hunted, Shinsuo, war is just above the horizon" I crouched as I put my mask back on.
