Scary world

I eyed the handsome stranger standing closely behind me. He's in his early twenties. A tall handsome man with pale skin and muscular body.

Well...I had encountered two handsome men in a day.

"Who are you?" I asked with a tremble of my lips.

Instead of answering my question he offered his hand. His arms were thick and corded with muscle.

As if I was going to take that hand.

I stared at his hand for a few seconds then glanced away. If he's refused to answer my question, I was not going easy on him.

Even without looking back at him I could see his amused smile. He dropped his hand and knelt beside me.

"Are you hurt?" His eyes skated over my body, a look of concern in them. I didn't say anything.

"It's much dangerous for a girl to be wandering out here, all alone," He said with a sly smile. A dimple appeared on his left cheek which I thought was cute.

Was he trying to flirt with me?

I looked at him with a bunch of disgust. He seemed unarmed but at the same time I felt like he's a dangerous man. He's remarkably handsome but then so there are some serial rapists and killers. I'd to be pretty dense not consider that.

"Oh yes, I should get home as soon as possible. So tell me where is the nearest bus stop?" I asked as if he would help me find a way to get out of the woods.

He stared at me in silence and suddenly broke into a loud laughter.

What the hell?

"Oh I'm sorry," He suppressed his stupid laugh once he captured me glaring at him. He looked at me as if there's something he knew that I didn't know and my question was stupid enough to make him laugh.

"Where are we now, at least tell me this? So that I can find a way to get home by myself," I asked.

"We are in the south," He said.

The quickest answer I've ever heard.

Was he trying to make me angry?

"Are you making fun of me?"

"Of course not, I'm sorry, but you cannot go back to your home," He was confident, It showed in his eyes.

Oh-huh, my assumptions were right. He must be a serial rapist or a kidnapper. I was instantly suspicious.

"How can you be so sure?" I asked, I tried to stay as calm as I could. There's no way I'd show my fear behind his words.

I wasn't going to go down without a fight. Not now, after I made it this far. I was grateful that my dad had taught me Taekwondo when I was six. Sadly, I couldn't continue after his death.

"Can I tell you something?" He asked, his gaze fixed on mine.

"I guess," I said warily.

He's finally going to reveal himself?

He leaned closer, his face was only a few inches away from me. I could feel the heat racing through my body. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I stared at his grey eyes, without blinking.

"This is the world of unnatural beings," His words grazed against my cheeks.

"Go straight, you will discover a demon castle and turn to west, you will end up in the hands of werewolves. You'll see the witch coven in the east and they will turn you into ashes," He pointed his finger onto each direction as he exposed the craziest and scariest information.

His words made my stomach clench tightly.

OK, this is freaking crazy.

"In short, you can't go back to the human world because there's no way out here," He sounded dangerous.

I have to be dreaming. It's the only thing that made sense.

I stood up looking at him and my breathing grew louder. I couldn't speak and tears fell from my eyes. This couldn't be happening. I could feel the panic working its way up.

No, it cannot be true. It was getting harder to believe what I was hearing. What was happening was impossible. I felt the world was spinning around me. I was going to faint. No doubt.

"Pardon my rudeness," He said as his icy hand touch my forehead and everything went black around me.
