Strange

I woke up from my long deep quiet sleep with a huge smile, remembering the mind-blowing kiss we had shared.

God, I kissed a vampire .

I could still feel his velvety warmth in my mouth.

I felt so refreshed, lively.

Stretching my arms above my head, I jumped out of bed and headed straight for the shower, eager to start a new day.

I washed my hair and skin quickly and jumped out, wrapping the towel around my chest and tucking it under my arm.

As I was stepped back into my room, singing my favourite song delicate by Taylor swift, I saw something standing at the doorway.

I couldn't clearly see the thing. I didn't even know if it's a person, yeah I meant a vampire or something else.

"W..Who?" I asked, unable to put a whole sentence together.

I could feel my body quivering like a leaf.

The thing which had hidden behind the door moved a bit causing me to jump out of my feet.

I sucked a breath, bracing myself.

"Did I scare you, Miss?" A girl, wearing a black denim with black jacket under a black shirt. Her dark long hair was scraped back into a ponytail.

The girl looked surprisingly familiar.

I've seen her before.

But where?

"Please get ready Miss, Master wants to see you," She said politely.

Again?

Didn't vampires use cell phones?

Why does he always had to assign someone for the escort?

"Have we met before?" I asked.

"I'm not sure," She smiled nervously. Her long eyelashes lowered over her eyes.

Yes, that smile.

How could I forget that smile?

Never in my life I had received such a genuine smile.

"Jaera," I said, a huge grin spread across my face.

I was so happy to meet her.

It seemed to me as if I had already got a company.

"Oh, you remember me," She looked surprised.

"Yes, I do," I said as I stepped forward. "You look different today though," I rested my hand over her shoulder as a friendly gesture. "I was so happy to meet you again,"

"Yeah," Judging from the look on her face, she's afraid of something. Her eyes denied meeting mine.

Why?

"You weren't supposed to talk to me like that, Miss" She said in a small voice.

"Meet me outside when you are ready," She quickly said and ran off.

"Wait__"

What's wrong with her?

Did I say something wrong?

Dammit!

I couldn't draw any conclusions from what she said.

God, I thought I could be friends with her.

It seems like I had no luck in friendship.
