Virgo's POV

I stand in front of the hospital a week later. I take a deep breath and go inside. I am led to Scorpio's room. I open the door and the nurse leaves us. There is a doctor inside talking to Scorpio who is standing with crutches. He nods as the doctor finishes speaking, then the doctor looks over at me, smiles, and walks out.

"So, I didn't tell anyone what happened because I didn't know if you wanted me to. I'm taking you home. Well, to my house, until your better."

"K." he hops on his crutches to the door. "Are you coming?" he says blatantly.

"Yep.. Right.." I follow him and eventually we get to the car. We get inside and the silence is overwhelming, tense, and awkward.

"Should we-"

"Talk? No." he finishes.

I nod and look towards the road. I drive to my house. The twenty minutes feel like hours. I help him out and take him inside.

"You can have the guest room in the meanwhile... And I'm telling the others what happened. They're gonna find out what happened when we go tomorrow to find out which house Ophiuchus is going to be in."

"Whatever." he sits on the bed, facing the wall.

I sigh and leave the room, closing the door behind me.

I call Leo. "Hey. Can you come over, please?"

"Yeah.. Sure?"

He's here in a matter of minutes since we practically live right next to each other.

"Scorpio is here." I say, leading Leo to the kitchen.

"Oh?"

"He was in a car crash."

"What?!?"

"Keep your voice down. He's grumpy. We got into a fight."

"You fought with him when he was half-dead?"

"It's complicated." I let out a deep breath.

"How complicated could it be?" Leo opens the fridge.

"Very. More than you think."

"Well, what happened?"

"That's not important. What's important is that he's alive and nobody can get through to him other than Libra. And we're not exactly besties."

"So you need me to talk to Libra and  make her come talk to Scorpio? But why Libra?"

"I don't know. They're just closer.. I guess."

"I always thought that you two were closer, not Libra."

"Oh my gosh, we got into a fight, I already told you. And it doesn't matter who's closer. At this point in time, he needs Libra, not me."

"Okay, okay, fine. But can you make food? I'm hungry."

I laugh and nod, going over to the fridge and taking out several ingredients. I begin to prepare a meal as Leo scrolls through his phone.

"So, are we gonna call anyone else?" he asks as I measure butter and toss it into a pan.

"You can call Pisces, Cap, and Cancer. We don't want people who are too crazy and hyper because they aren't gonna be serious."

"Taurus, Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, and Sag aren't crazy."

"I just don't want too many people. And Aries and Taurus are both crazy."

"But Taurus will be serious if it is a serious situation."

"Just invite Pisces, Cap, and Cancer. Okay?"

He nods and begins typing. I turn on the heat and begin boiling pasta. I make sauce and preheat the oven, then pour the alfredo sauce on top of the pasta. I put the pan into the oven. By the time I finish, there is a knock on the door.

I open the door to see, as I expect, Cancer, Pisces, and Capricorn. I allow them inside.

"Can I go up to talk to him?" Capricorn asks.

"Yeah, of course. Go ahead. First door on the left." I say. He smiles and begins walking upstairs.

Capricorn POV

I walk up the wooden spiral staircase. Once I get up,  I turn to the left and knock on the door.

"Go away," I hear a grumble.

"It's Capricorn."

"Awesome. Now go away."

I roll my eyes and knock harder.

"What the fuck, Capricorn? I said go away!"

I knock even harder. I hear a mutter and footsteps. He swings the door open with anger.

"What do you want?" He asks.

I walk past him and into the room. "Sit down, calm your ass down, and talk to me. That's what I want."

He shook his head and let out a breath the slammed the door. He sat down with me on the bed.

"How did you get into a car accident? Were you drunk again?"

"It's harder than you think to be sober." he says, looking away from me.

"I know," I sigh. "But is that why you fought with Virgo?"

"She was yelling at me for getting drunk. She has her own problems, so why the fuck does she have the right to yell at me? Why does she get the right to act like she's any better than me? She isn't." his fists are balled up and his stare is still at the wall.

"What do you mean?"

"She's messed up."

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"When she was 12 she tried to commit suicide. Then she survived so she cut her thighs till she was 15. Then she tried to commit suicide again. She didn't stop cutting, not even when she got therapy. Eventually she lost so much blood that she had to go to the hospital and that's when she realized that she didn't want to die. So she stopped cutting. But can't you see that she's so much more messed up than me?"

"I mean, sure... But you're an alcoholic. That could've ended differently. Please take more care of yourself. And come eat. Smells like the food is ready."

I take him down and everyone sits for dinner. We all begin to talk, but I can't stop looking at Virgo and thinking that her situation could've ended differently as well.
