Scorpio POV
I close the door after Virgo as we walk into the house. She turns to me and crosses her arms. "Cramps? Seriously!?"
I shrug. "Did you want me to tell them you were tearing yourself into shreds?"
She blinks. "What?"
"Did you want me to explain to them what you did to yourself? It didn't seem like you were ready to speak. You were stuttering."
"What the fuck was I supposed to say?"
"What was I supposed to say?"
"Nothing! You should have shut your mouth."
"Ok. Next time I'll shut my mouth. But I got you out of the hole you dug yourself, so if I were you, I wouldn't be complaining." I say blankly and walk away.
Ophiuchus POV
Thanksgiving break just ended. Over break, Daniel and I talked. We're friends now, closer friends. I still can't stand his girlfriend, Lizzie. She's an annoying snob.
"Hey!" Someone says, running up to me. I hold my books tight to me and face them.
"Hi?"
"I'm Kaya. You're Ophiuchus right?" She says cheerfully. I realize she's holding a camera up to me.
"Um, yes.."
She turns the camera to her. "You got it here first, folks! The one and only Ophiuchus, owner of her own house!!! I guess the thirteenth house ISN'T a myth! Next time, we're going to be interviewing the FIRST person to ever join the Ophiuchus house... That is, if Ophiuchus accepts the responsibility of owning her own house!"
She shuts her camera. I stand still, dumbfounded.
"Thanks!" She wiggles her fingers and skips off.
"What..." who knows? No one other than the teachers. Fuck. Daniel!
I run all around the school looking for him. The bell rings and I slump against the wall breathlessly. Where is he?
Later that day...
When I get back home, I run inside. "How was school?" My mom yells after me. I run up the stairs and don't answer.
I open my phone.
Me- WTF DANIEL
Danii💀- wut
Me- who the hell did you tell
Danii💀- what the fuck are u talking about
Me- I trusted u with the house thing but some damn girl came up to me with a camera talking all about the shit I told you how the fuck does she know
Danii💀- I DIDNT TELL ANYONE
Me- omfg, so who did? The teachers who SPECIFICALLY told me NOT to say anything?
Me- I shouldn't have trusted you
Me- ANSWER ME NOW
Danii💀- I told Liz
Me- holy shit wtf is ur problem
Danii💀- she's my gf. Sorry
Me- idgaf if you're married to that hoe you don't tell her something that I TRUSTED you with. I'm really pissed.
Danii💀- I'm sorry.
Me- don't talk to me.
I sigh and lie back in bed. What do I do now? Everything's ruined. If this spreads to the whole school, my life is going to be chaos.
