"Oh, dear God," I shudder as Alec steps in front of my friends and I.
"You again," Deric rolls his eyes.
"Yeah me again. And I'm not trying to make a third coming so let's make this easier on you and get the fuck out of their faces."
"Look man, I'm not trying to have any beef with you but if you want to come in here acting all high and mighty I will make sure to put you back into whatever Hell hole you crawled out of."
Alec shrugs his shoulders and cracks his knuckles, "Give me your best shot." He opens himself up for a hit.
Deric looks behind him at his friends and then back at Alec. He smirks and then takes a swing at Alec's left cheek. Alec calmly slides his head back and grips Deric's wrist with his right hand, crossing over his body. In one quick motion he twist it, pulling Deric all the way down, his back facing up. He moved behind him still holding on and presses his heel into the back of his knee. Deric let out a yelp and I had to hold back everything not to laugh. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Alec's palm digs into his shoulder and showed no sign of letting up anytime soon. My eyes shifted between Alec who looks like he is planning his grocery list and Deric who is more than more likely calling the ambulance. He tries shifting his body weight, but just lets out an antagonizing grunt.
"I wouldn't do that if you," Alec says flatly. "One wrong move and your whole shoulder is basically demolished." He pulls Deric's wrist across his back even more. He lets out a sound I never though that he could make. "So, like I was saying. Leave them alone figlio di una puttana."
He dropped the pathetic piece of a person on the football field and begins to walk off. He pauses, turns around and kicks Deric in the gut. Huffing and straightening himself up, he walks off the field to the locker rooms. All of Deric's friends part like the red sea out of his way. One of the coaches blows his whistle, dismissing the rest of the class.
Sami looks over at me, mouth wide open. "What. The. Shit just happened? You know what, whatever it was it was hot as fuck."
I smack her in the back of the head, "Hot? That was near murderous!"
"Oh, come on. Lighten up a little. You know damn well that that turned you on."
I smacked her again. She rubs her head in frustration. I walk over to Michael who looks like he had just seen his life flash before his eyes. In all honesty, it did.
"Hey," I say softly, "Are you ok?"
He looks around frantically trying to figure out where he is and how he got there.
"I--I--uh--I---"
"Hey, its alright. I'm right here," my voice sounds like that of a mother comforting her child after they fall off a bike. I hold his shoulders in my hands and make him look in my eyes. "I am right here."
His breathing finally slows down, and his eyes soften.
"Thanks..."
"Yeah, no problem," I let go of him. "Now let's get dressed and head out before anything else happens.
The three of us walk back inside. The only one really talking among us is Sami and its mostly her telling us her devious plan get Alec to hook up with her. Her and I wave Michael goodbye while we get to go change into out regular clothes and head out of school. We are walking to my car when I spot Alec at his locker. I nudge Sami's shoulder.
"Hey, I'll see tomorrow ok?"
"Uhm sure I guess...what's up?" she looks at me, but she easily follows my gaze to the target. "I thought you were letting me have him?"
