I wake up incredibly warm. Everything feels hazed and fuzzy for a moment. I try to move but I feel something holding me back. The bed sheets under me are jumbled and my blanket is on the floor in a heap. I manage to roll over on my side and I almost have a panic attack. Alec is facing me, fast asleep with his arm wrapped around me. Memories of last night start to flood my head and the panic attack slowly starts to set in again. I make another attempt to move again and the startles him slowly awake. His eyes flutter open and they land on me softly. I swoon.
"Morning beautiful," he whispers. His voice still full of sleep and husk.
"Uhhh..." is the only thing I am able to get out.
"Are you alright," a half smile on his face, but he sounds genuinely concerned. That's a first for me.
"Yeah—yeah," I stutter, "I'm alright..."
"You sure," he props himself up on his elbow, towering over me.
"Yes..." I whimper. It hits me that neither of us has any clothes on.
"So...?" he starts, "how was it?"
"Amazing..." I say bluntly. He chuckles at me which makes me blush.
"I'm glad," he runs his thumb along my cheek.
"So..." I brush my hair out of my face.
"Want to go again?" he asks for me. He knew I was thinking it.
"—please--?"
He just smirks and climbs on top of me, his lips grazing mine.
...
I don't remember falling back asleep, but I wake up on top of Alec as he rubs my back. I let out a groan as I slowly sit up to straddle his waist.
"Well hello again Bunny," he smiles gently.
"How long have you been up?" I yawn, rubbing my eyes.
"Half an hour maybe," he shrugs.
"And you haven't left?"
"Why would I leave?"
"I don't know..." I rub my arm in embarrassment. I figured since Deric would always leave, there's no reason Alec should be any different. Except he is completely different. He's everything that I've wanted and more. He touches me with passionate and Deric...he touches me and there is nothing there. His hands are cold and rigid.
"El," he sits up and I slide down to sit in his lap. "I would never leave you."
I blush, "Thanks..."
He looks over to the clock on my dresser, "We should be getting up."
I follow his gaze, "Thirty more minutes?"
He huffs lightly, "Here," he moves me to the side and gestures for me to lay down. "I'm going to get breakfast started. By the time it's done, it'll be time for you to get up."
I try to protest but him putting his clothes back on distract me. He has a hard time looking for his shirt, so h goes downstairs without it. I didn't notice before, but his back and chest are laced in scars of various lengths. A few of them I can claim but most of them could never have been made by me. I lay in the bed, but I don't fall asleep. I recall everything we did, and I start to giggle uncomfortably. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Every few minutes my body shivers as if he is still touching me. I eventually get up and I find his shirt over by my closet. Picking it up, I can smell his cologne completely intake. I ring it closer to my nose and I melt at the scent. Putting the shirt on along with a pair of short, I crept downstairs and I'm immediately hit with the smell of breakfast food. Eggs, bacon, and waffles overload my senses.
