Youji was sitting down on the near by couch waiting for Her cousin tell her the story of her family and as she waited she noticed how  much similar to Kaname almost like they could brothers. Kaname kept giving unblinking stare while Zero was giving side glances waiting growing very impatient. Finally her cousin got up folded his arms then started to explain by telling a story based on her parents.

(James ) " Youji your parents are a mixed race you see your father  was a human while your mother was the archangel Mariel. They both were together on earth for a very long time and truth be told nobody  knew that they had you until you were a little girl.  Your mother and father were always in the woods for your safety . Your red hood became a legend that started off as a rumor about a big bad wolf who killed your grandmother instead of your mother . They truth is we both know it was a vampire that actually killed and your father was taken back to heaven after the found the sin he committed by having you. "

(Youji) " That does explains my strange abilities but why use my red hood to cover up my mother's murder."

(Kaname) " I think they did it to share your feelings...you were just a child when she was murdered right"

(Youji) " Yes..but there's got to be more to the story right"

(James) " Oh there is.. you see Youji your have Japanese and half American but the original tale was altered because they wouldn't suspect a young girl to have limitless power through her . So in other words your parents and the people of your village spread those rumors to protect them from having powerful creatures come find you to use you to there benefit. I don't see much different now that these vampires are with you  however you old enough to make you own decisions "

(Youji) " I see thank you for telling me ..we will take our leave"

Youji was almost out the door until she pulled back into a kiss by her perverted cousin. She just groaned in annoyance before shoving him away to wipe her mouth and Kaname with Zero glared menacingly at him as they left the manor.  Zero ran up to Youji before speaking:

(Zero) " Is he really your cousin..he seems like an old lover"

(Youji) " We are related by blood but likes to mess with me from time to time I get annoyed and for some reason he does it on purpose especially with an audience"

(Kaname) " So he has an unrequited love for you or something of that nature"

(Youji) " More like I rejected him when we were young and he won't stop because he's a spiteful man. So..what did you both need me for anyway?"

(Zero) " Well..this may sound strange but we need you to help us using your power "

(Youji) " Whatever for ..I barely know how to use it"
