Chapter 3

Dawn's POV:

I was sitting in my office when there was a knock on the other side of my door, I told the person on the other side of it to come in.

"Good evening Alpha Lune." She said while bowing.

"What can I do for you today Diana?"

"It's nothing you can do for me Alpha, but I was bringing news to you that I just found out?"

"What news is that?"

"There is a new wolf in the states, but she doesn't seem like a threat. The only thing about it is you wouldn't be able to tell if she a wolf or not." She said in a mouthful.

"What do you mean I wouldn't be able to tell if she is a wolf or not?" I asked.

"She smells human, but the crazy part is she is 17 and haven't shifted yet but she is able to hear her wolf."

"How the hell is that possible?! And how do you know all this?!" I yelled.

"I was sitting outside the airport posing as a human doing that Uber thing they do, and she needed a ride, but she didn't know where to, she said she was new here and wanted to find a place to stay. I asked if she wanted to come here but she seems as if she was running from something."

"Okay, as long as she is not a threat to my pack I will not bother her," I told Diana before dismissing her.

I finish going over some more bills that needed to be paid before I left out of the office. I'm not sure how I feel about a werewolf that can't shift being close to my territory. What if she can shift but lying about it, but what werewolf lie about not being able to shift.

I left out of the office and went to look for my best friend who is also my beta, me and my best friend been friends since we were born. Her mom and my mom were best friends.

That was until my parents got killed a few years ago, she took it hard just like I did, and I stayed glued to her side for almost 2 years, no one was able to get me away from her side, not even my best friend.

I finally found my best friend in the game room with her mate and some other pack members.

"Halley, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked her.

She nodded her head and followed me back to my office, I let her walk in first and I closed the door behind us.

"What you need to talk about?"

"Diana just told me that there is a new werewolf in our state, but she doesn't think the girl is a threat to our pack," I told her.

"Okay, if she's not a threat why did you call me in here?"

"The thing about this werewolf is she can't shift, but she got her wolf."

"Wait, I'm not getting this. She has a wolf, but she can't shift?"

"Right, I was the same way, I don't know how I feel about it maybe we should go meet this girl."

"Yeah, I think we should just to be on the safe side of things." She agreed.

I link Diana to come to see me since she is the only one that knows where to find this werewolf. Not long after she came into my office.

"Yes, Alpha?"

"We need you to take us to where you drop this girl off at I would like to meet her," I said to her.

She nodded her head and we followed her out of the pack house. I was going to drive but I believe it would be better to let Diana drive, so she can get us there faster.
