Chapter 5

Dawn's POV:

"What do you mean you might know who killed my parents?!" I yelled.

I heard her whimper, but I was getting too angry, all these years I been looking for the people who killed my parents and with just one story of me telling her how they died, she thinks she knows who killed them!

"I-I will tell you what I know but not here." She whispered.

I paid the bill and walked out heading to the car. I wanted to know everything, and I didn't want to waste any time finding out. Once she got in the car I pulled off heading toward the pack house going over the speed limit.

I got to the pack house within 5 minutes, we both got out of the car and walked into the house. I mind link my beta and delta telling them to meet us in my office. This is something we all should hear. When we got to my office my beta and delta were already there.

"What's wrong alpha?" Halley asked me.

"Ruby thinks she knows who killed my parents," I growled.

We all looked at her waiting for her to tell us why she thinks she knows who killed my parents. 5 minutes had passed and she haven't said anything. I was getting angry just standing here waiting for her to say something.

"Dawn calm the fuck down your scaring her!"  My wolf growled.

"I don't care right now, she is wasting time telling me what she knows," I growled back.

I walked over to her and pinned her to the wall by her throat.

"Tell me what you know and stop wasting my time," I growled.

"DAWN STOP YOUR HURTING HER!" My beta yelled.

"I-it was my old pack." She whimpered out.

I let her go and let her fall to the floor taking steps back from her. Her pack is the reason I lost my family and the moon goddess mated me with someone who was from that pack. Why would the moon goddess do something like this to me?

I turned around to say something to her, but she was already gone from my office. How the hell did she leave that damn fast?

"Luna we have to do something about this, I want my revenge," I told my wolf, but I didn't get a response back.

I left out my office following Ruby scent, but it was starting to faint the closer I made it toward the front door. Once I got to the door I was no longer able to smell her scent. I saw Diana standing next to the door with an angry look on her face and staring at me.

"What's with that look?" I asked her.

"Your what's with it, I know you're my alpha and all, but someone should tell you when you're wrong and today you were very wrong. I heard everything from outside your office. How could you hurt your own mate? I don't know her story, but I can tell she been hurt a lot and you did not make that any better for her." She growled before walking out of the house.

I was so angry that I didn't care that I was hurting my mate at the time, and now that I'm a little calm guilt is starting to get to me. I told myself I would never put my hands on my mate and I broke that promise. How could I have done something like that? It wasn't her fault that her pack killed, my parents.

I ran to my office and grabbed my keys before leaving out of the house, I need to apologize to her and beg for her forgiveness. I should have listened to Luna, but my anger was getting the best of me and I never think when I am angry.

I jumped in my car and took off toward her place. I didn't care about the speed limit I just wanted to get to my mate and ask for her forgiveness. I pulled up to her apartment and walked inside. I ran up the stairs to the 4th floor and started knocking on her door.
