⚠️Trigger warning ⚠️
This chapter involves multiple personality disorder, I have never seen or experienced this so if some things are wrong feel free to point them out to me and I will try an have them fixed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~At the end of my week with Darren, I met the guys at Starbucks. They were all sitting at a table waiting for me. I walked to the table and sat down they were all on one side as if I was in a police investigation, It was a little intimidating.
"Hay Daisy, who is your husband for all eternity? It's totally me right?" Darren said the last question under his breath a little too loud. I just looked at them all, there was no way that I was making that decision before graduating. No matter what they told me at the start.
"I can't decide right now, you will have to give me until a week after graduation at least!"
"No! I'm not waiting that long to find out that you pick me," Darren said a little too confident with a hint of fear.
"Too bad! I don't care what you want it's my life and my decision, you can't stop me from waiting!" I yell, everyone was staring at us.
"Alright, I agree you can have until Sunday 3 pm the week after graduation" Quill spoke up. The other guys except Darren nodded the heads in agreement.
"No! I don't agree I want to know now!" Darren yelled in a demanding tone, the fear slightly growing.
"Darren! It's up to her, we can't decide for her. If you keep this up, she may never pick you!" Quill yelled, you could tell from his tone that he might shift if this continues.
"Right I'm sorry Daisy, I don't know what came over me. This happens sometimes" Darren admitted with a guilty and fearful undertone.
'It's as if he becomes a completely different person sometimes'. All my mind could think about for the rest of the week was, does he have multiple personality disorder and if he does have it, is it a byproduct of having omnipotence? I decided I would ask him straight out, giving him a chance to tell me everything. On the Monday of the next week of school, I went to find him, since the boys agreed that I would be left alone till the week after gad. At lunch I finally found him. As I was walking to the table, the boys saw me coming and they scattered like a bunch of rats. I had to run to catch Darren.
"Darren! I understand you all agreed to leave me alone but I need to ask you something?"
"What!" He snapped. I started to walk away, I wasn't going to take that. He ran after me."Uhh, Daisy, it's you I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to say it like that."
"All I wanted was to ask you a question."
"Ask away," He said while bowing.
"Is there any issues you have from omnipotence?"
"Why do you ask?" He seems wary.
"I want to know everything I'll have to deal with, so I can be sure that I make the right decision." There was a long pause before he spoke.
"Like any superhero or supernatural being, omnipotent people have one weakness in Our minds we're not the only ones."
"What do you mean by 'in our minds, we are not the only ones'?"
"I mean we, are more than one person." He was very vague.
"Tell me exactly what that means!"
"Ummm............ ahhhhhhhh................. how to say this.............. people with omnipotence have multiple different personalities," he said very warily as if I might run away and never talk to him again.
"Thanks for being honest with me"
I walked away with a skip in my step. Now fully aware of everything that I need to know. The more I learned about Quill and Darren the harder my decision was. This was going to be a long couple of weeks.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
