TWO DAYS LATER....
• F U N N E H •
I cuddled up in the soft blankets, reveling in the comfort. These blankets were so soft and warm, it was like sleeping on a cloud.
"Funneh, wake up! We've only got three hours until the party starts!" Gold exclaimed, shaking my body.
"Three hours is a long time, Gold. Let me sleep..." I groaned, covering my face with my pillow. "Funneh, it's two in the afternoon! Wake up!" Gold pleaded, shaking my body again.
"Nooooo.... I'm tired," I whined, "let me sleep." "Oh fine. Sleep in and miss the party," Gold puffed, defeated. I listened to the noise of her closing the door behind her and I yawned, resuming my slumber.
I don't know how long passed, maybe a few hours or a few minutes, but I do know that my dreams felt like they lasted for eons.
DREAMSCAPE....
I opened my eyes and turned my body around. I sat up, waist twisted as I glanced all around. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
All around me was just an abyss, an abyss full of nothing, just a void. It wasn't dark, I mean, there was no color around me, but I could see. It was just.. there. Like some sort of blank haze that I was supposed to be able to see but couldn't. Blank. That's the only way I could describe it.
(I swear to God, someone is gonna make a joke out of that first line in the previous paragraph. Too late bc I already pointed it out :>)
I looked down, holding my hand up. Everything seemed normal. I found myself in my regular clothes, the same shirt and cardigan, shorts, and tennis shoes. All the same bright colors.
My hair wasn't any different.
I stood up, and spun around once again. Still nothing. I frowned and started to walk. My footsteps echoed loudly, like high heels wandering down an empty hallway.
"Hello?" I called out, stepping forward. And then, someone, no, something appeared before me. They had no colors but a very dark shade of grey. It held out its hand, beckoning me to follow it.
I grasped its hand and let it guide me to wherever it wanted me to go. We couldn't have walked for very long, but we did walk for a period of time.
This is lame, I thought.
And then the figure turned around, snapping its fingers, and in a puff of hazy, thick, foggy purple smoke, fizzing in an almost oozing manner appeared Lunar.
She was frozen, motionless, but stuck in an action, a pose. She was pouring a green gooey potion into a cauldron before her, her face concentrated on her task. In her other hand held a book, decorated with tinted gold and silver, ancient writing carved onto the front.
Anything below her ankles dispersed into a large, heavy, thick, smog of purple smoke. Like it was fading out towards the bottom.
"Lunar?" I asked. She stood motionless still, not responding. I hesitated before walking away. By then, the figure that had led me here had vanished.
Taking a few more steps forward, I found another "statue" of one of the Krew members. In a puff of green, fiery, fog, Draco appeared.
He stood frozen in action too, one hand grasping a staff and the other spread out, casting a large green flame that radiated brightly.
Below his ankles, everything dispersed into once again, a fiery, thick, smoking smog that looked like I was from an actual dragon.
"Draco? Hello?" I called out, hoping this time it might react differently. But to my dismay, nothing happened.
