Book 2 Bonus Chapter - Beacon's "Angel Of Justice"

You wake up the morning after your mission to mountain Glenn with Ruby cuddled up to you in your arms and you smile to yourself as you think: "I don't think I could have woken up to anything better than this."

You spend the next few minutes laying next to her before you get out of bed to shower, get dressed, and brush your teeth.

When you finally step out of the bathroom you see that everyone else has already woken up except for Ruby who is just starting to wake up.

You: Good morning beautiful, did you sleep well?

Ruby: (Yawn) I feel like I should be asking you that, when's the last time you slept on an actual bed?

You: The last time I slept on an actual bed was also the last time I broke the sound barrier.

Yang: You still haven't been able to do that again?

You: No, but I feel like I'm getting closer to that point, I just need to keep training.

Ruby: I'm sure you'll get to where you can do it no problem if you keep training as hard as you have.

You: I dunno... I don't think I'm pushing myself hard enough...
Starting tomorrow I'm gonna start training on weekends.

Ruby: Tomorrow? Why not today?
Today is Saturday you know.

You: Yeah, I know but I figured that maybe we could go out today.
Waddaya say? Wanna go check and see if Natsuki is okay and grab some cupcakes?

Ruby: Sure, but can we get cookies this time?

You: Sure, today we can do Whatever you want.

Ruby: Awesome! I'll be ready in a few minutes.

Ruby hops out of bed, grabs a change of clothes and heads to the bathroom.
While she's in there you're scrolling through your phone playing what few games still work on it and listening to music when you get an idea.

You: Lets start today's date out right.

Yang: Oh no, what are you thinking (Y/N)

You: I'm thinking about putting on a little performance.
Do you guys mind if I start singing or is it gonna bother you?

Yang: If it's for my sister then I'm fine with it.

Blake: You do have a nice singing voice so I have no problems with it.

Weiss: Well... it has been a while since we heard you sing last.

You: Great, lemme just find a song from my list that I think would be good.

After some searching You find a suitable song and get it ready when a few minutes later Ruby finally steps out of the bathroom.

You: Ruby, you asked me how I slept earlier but I just wanted you to know that whether it was a bed of nails, or the most comfortable bed in the world.
Waking up next to you made it the best nights rest I've ever gotten.

You then start playing the music for Memphis May Fire's Speechless, and after a few seconds begin singing while staring into Ruby's eyes.
