Chapter 8: visit from the moon goddess

(Johns POV)

When she told me that her wolf died I was no longer able to sense her wolf at all. Alec was holding onto her like his life depended on it.

Then the moon goddess showed up in Chianne's room. "Hello, John and Alec. I will be taking Chianne with me. She does not know this but she will have another wolf. She will not be a pure wolf any more but she will be a very strong wolf. Alec, she will still be your mate. On her 17th birthday, I will return her to this exact spot on the same time I took her." Alec and I nodded our heads and let her take Chianne away from us.

A year went by and I went up to her room to see Chianne on the floor. I was so happy but I called up the pack doctor who checked on her. "She is alive but in a comma. Alec can come up to see her now." He left and Alec came in, picked her up and sat down on her bed.

(Chianne's POV)

I moved my hand and blinked my eyes remembering what happened then I started to shift into my wolf. Once I shifted I went to my mirror. I was this hazel brown wolf. "Hello Chianne. I am your new wolf Alie."

"Hi Alie. Nice to meet you." I stayed in my wolf form, walked up to Alec and nudged his leg with my nose. "Can you hear his wolf Alie?"

"Yes I can I am talking with him right now."

"Okay." I laid down at his feet waiting for him to notice me. When he didn't notice me I whined and went through my door walking down the stairs to find my dad in the living room. I went up to him and nudged his leg.

"Chianne? Is that you?" He asked as he pet me. I sat down and nudged his leg before going to the stairs to go to me room where my mate hasn't even noticed me. My dad followed me.

"Alie? What is his wolf telling you?" I asked her.

"He is telling me that Alec is not his self."

"Thank you. Could you let his wolf know that I am trying to get Alec's attention?"

"Yeah I can do that."

"Chianne?" My dad said. I shifted back to my human form and wrapped a towel around me.

"Hello dad." I looked over at Alec and sighed. "Dad while I wake a shower can you talk to Alec for me?"

"Yeah I can do that for you princess." I went to the bathroom and took a shower.

(Alec's POV)

I was shocked by my shoulder. I looked over and saw John. "Hey Alec. My daughter is back. She tried to get your attention but came to me to tell me to talk to you that way she can take a shower. Her wolf is a hazel brown. When she looked over at you she was sad." When he finished his little speech my wolf pipped in. "Her wolf was talking to me you dumbass. Telling me the while time that she is awake."

Then Chianne come out only in a towel.
