Chapter 7: birthday party plus mate

(Chianne's POV)

I made it back to the pack house still in wolf form. I shifted back to human form, found clothes to put on which was sweat pants and a sweat shirt, went inside to go up to my bed room.

I locked myself in my room not going to come out ever again. "Stupid! Stupid! I am so stupid! How could I end up almost hitting my mate who is a Alpha at that! What was I thinking!?" I threw my things around causing them to break. I grabbed a piece if glass and started to cut my arms.

Someone started pounding on my door but I just said, "Go away! Leave me alone!" You could say I was mad at myself.

(Alec's POV)

We got to the pack house in Silver Moon territory. Then I felt pain in my arms after I heard things being thrown around. I followed the noise and smelt blood. My mate was cutting herself. I started pounding on her door trying to get her to open up.

She yelled through the door, "Go away! Leave me alone!" She was mad but I couldn't figure out why.

"Chi! Open up now!" John said behind me.

"Alpha John, this may not be the right time but I am her mate." I said.

"I know. Damn it Chi! Please open up!"

"No! I am never going to open up!"

"Okay Alec I give you permission to break down her door." I ran straight through the door and went straight to my mate.

I looked her over and she was bleeding. She should be healing right now.

(Chianne's POV)

I was dying very slowly. I tried to talk to my wolf but all I got from her was, "It is my time. I am sorry but you have to let me go. Our mate needs you. Don't hang on to me." I let her go as she died. I was still dying very slowly.

I heard Alec saying, "Don't you dare close your eyes Chianne! Stay awake!"

I glanced over at my adopted and said in a barely audible voice, "My wolf died. My Delilah died, dad." I then closed my eyes and didn't wake back up.
