Chapter 6: High school

I got to school with only these thoughts in my mind, "Today is my 16th birthday. Be brave. Don't listen to anyone who will bully you." I took a deep breath and went inside the school and straight into the main office. "Hello, how may I help you?" Said the girl behind the counter.

"Hello. I am the new student. Chianne Dixon." I told her. Her eyes light up and got my schedule and I went my way.

My locker number is 342. I walked around till I found my locker. I looked at my schedule.

1st----home room

2nd----PE

3rd----math

Lunch

4th----language arts

5th----art

6th----history

That was my freshman schedule for the year. I got to my first class and introduced myself, went to the seat in the back and got to work on what the class was doing.

The day went by pretty fast. Soon school was out and I did not make any friends. I got picked up by Mark.

"Why is my dad not here to pick me up?" I asked him as I got in the car.

"He asked me to come pick you up to take you shopping."

"Yes!" I screamed and turned on the radio to a good station and started singing along with every song.

We got to the mall and I pulled mark with me to every store. It took 3 hours to finish shopping. We were heading back to the parking lot when I smelt something. I followed the woodsy mint smell over to this guy. We both said, "Mate." At the same time.

Mark said, "Hello Alpha Alec." He bowed his head in respect. I bowed my head as well and looked at Mark in shock. I said to him through mind link, "What!? Alpha Alec is my mate!?"

"Wait he is your mate!?"

"Apparently." I felt tingles go through my whole body when Alec touched my chin to lift up my head.

"Hello my, mate." He was gorgeous. Blue grey eyes, dirty blonde hair, maybe 6'2". He is well built.

"Hello Alpha Alec." I shifted my eyes away from him to look at the ground like it was the most interesting thing at the moment.

"Chi, we need to get going back. Your father just mind linked me telling us to get back home. I told him that you met your mate. He told me to bring him over." I dragged my mate over to the car so I could put my things in the trunk of the car. I was about to get into Marks car when I was pulled away roughly. I spun around about to punch Alec in the face. I stopped a inch from his nose.

"Mark..... Let my dad know that I will e home soon." I ran away into the forest and shifted into my black wolf.

(Marks POV)

I saw Alpha Alec stand there confused. I went over to him and said, "Don't worry. She had a rough child hood in the orphanage. Then Alpha John adopted her then raised her right. She is adjusting to having a good life right now. Give her some time. Why don't you follow me to Silver Moon territory?"
