Chaper 2: Whole new world

3rd person POV

it was early noon in the land of ancient ruins, where most of the wolds treasure was found.

There were many archaeologists here on this certain day. There were people who worked for the archaeologists digging and looking deep in the ground to find a treasure or anything that was of value.

It seemed like another normal day,  maybe 1 or 2 things of value found but nothing extraordinary, until...

*clack*....  *clack* "... Hey, I think I found something! And by the sounds of it,  it sounds pretty big!" A worker shouted out,  catching the attention of everyone around him to come flooding in to help him dig it up.
As they were digging whatever was beneath them. Another worker caught a glimpse of something white in the ground saying "hey look at this! I found something!" They all like where the man was pointing and saw something white sticking out of the ground and melting? And all of a sudden they realized it was ice that was buried underneath the ground.  They all started to dig around the certain ice that was underneath them.  The more they dug,  the larger the ice became and the more they uncover the thicker it was. It took them a good 3 hours and 40 minutes to dig up half of it. By then the ice was starting to melt more quickly because of the heat it was exposed to. It melted so much to the point that they could all see something inside of the ice, but they couldn't see it very well.

"Keep digging! We are getting close!" The men all continued to dig and the sun helped them by melting the use a little bit at a time. With all their effort and hard work,  the men could make out a human figure in the ice.  Then the light shone onto the ice and it was as if the ice became see-through,  as they saw a figure of a young girl?! "I-its a girl?! B-but how can this be??!" One of the men said completely shocked and bewildered at the sight in front of them. The girl was the definition of beauty, grace and elegance,  her blond hair so long it was longer than she was.  Her fair-pale skin smooth and untouched.  Her body even though she was very young looking, was more than decent, to say the least. To most, they would think she is 12 or 13 at least but no, her body was at the age of 10, even though she was much,  much older.

After the men snapped back to the reality of looking at her.  One of them said "Right let's continue digging! We can't let the girl stay there too long!" They all dug up the rest of the ice.  Cutting off the is the girl was in and taking ber of the hole. The men then brought the girl in ice over to the archaeologists they worked for and were greatly awarded for finding something like this.  "What are we going to do with her? We can't keep her in the ice forever." Said one of the archaeologists.  "Relax will you.  She is perfectly good right now. Besides if we take her out of the ice or melt it,  it will lose its value for when we sell it.  "What??! Are you actually going to sell her?!!"  The man said with anger and shock. "Of course I am.  I mean just look at her! Her looks alone will fetch a price at an auction and the fact she is inside of that ice is just extraordinary!" The other man said.  "You're despicable! How could you do something like that to someone? Especially a little girl!!
I'm very disappointed in you, father."
The man said and turned around and left.  "Pfft. Fine,  that means I'll get the money for myself!"

Later on, the girl in the ice was packed and shipped from one place to another until finally, she had arrived at an auction house in YorkNew City. Where she would be the featured item on auction.

Phantom troupe POV

Every one of us was getting ready to leave for another mission. This time the target is the featured items at the YorkNew city auction. 

PAKUNODA POV
As we all were getting ready to leave.  I noticed a strange look appear on the spider's limbs face (their leader for short).  I go up to him and say "are you alright?" He looked at me shocked (but he didn't show it too much)

"Yeah,  I'm fine, just,  thinking."
"All right. As long as your alright."

Chrollo POV
As I was busy thinking,  I suddenly felt a really bad feeling run down my spine.  And all of a sudden I hear Pakunoda say "Are you alright" which made mesmerised with shock and as I turned around to face her I  changed the expression I had on to a neutral one. I looked at her and said, "Yeah, I'm fine, just, thinking." She then replied "All right.  As long as your alright" and then walked away,  leaving me as the only person still here.

I thought back on the feeling I felt and said to myself 'what was that feeling just now? Is it telling me that something is going to happen? Well, whatever happens I know I'll be prepared.'

The last thing he was,  was prepared for what is about to happen next.

Sorry to stop it at a cliffhanger.  Its just I'm really busy with school that I was unable to finish it all in this chapter, next chapter will be longer.
