I sighed and flare planted into my book, "Ughhh, this sucks." Gusion laughs at my pain and suffering but I try ignoring it.
"Calm down, it's just math."
"I AM BEING MENTALLY ABUSED BY THESE LETTERS AND NUMBERS AND SYMBOLS."
"How???"
"You wouldn't understand, because you're, SMART."
"Uh...it's not my fault...?"
"Help meeeeeee."
"Okay, fine, what do you need?"
"THE ANSWERS. NOW."
"I can't just give you the answers." I groaned and started to make crying noises into the book.
"I wanna go home and get away from this abuseeee."
"Just finish it then you can go."
"I don't wanna finish thisss."
"Well then I guess you're not going home."
"BUT I WANT TO."
"Yeah, and I want a boyfriend, we can't have everything in life."
"Well I'm SORRY, I've been in a relationship for 7 YEARS."
"Well I'm glad you've got Alu, but right now you can't go home to him unless you finish this math. Alu can't be the only one makin' money for the two of you for the rest of your life."
I lift up my head and let out a sigh, "Fine, fine. I know I have to finish college soon..."
"Yeah and you can't finish college without learning this math. Just keep going and remember who you're doing this for."
"Okay, okay, but can you actually help me now?"
"Yeah, of course." Right as Gusion was going to start explaining he receives a text.
"Ooooo, who's it from??" Gusion averts his gaze away from the phone after checking it.
"Nothing, I can respond to it later."
"C'mon is it Claude? Hayabusa? Who?"
"None of your business."
"Come onnnn."
"If you don't shut up about this I'm gonna let you suffer this abuse from math."

After a few hours I was finally able to get through my stupid math. The sun was about setting once I left Gusion's apartment. I took out my phone and quickly texted Alu saying I just finished and will be getting home soon.
It's still difficult for me to get use to this, living with him. Alu had graduated from college two years and ago and was able to quickly get a job. We've been together for 7 years and he decided to invite me to live with him once he got a house so I wouldn't have to pay to live near the college campus. It's a little weird to explain since we're living together, but we're only dating still.
