I'm scrambling to get ready after hearing a knock at the door. At the same time Zev's doing the same. I didn't think through that this might look different from reality when I collapsed into bed last night. Honestly nothing happened after Zev and I kissed some. And it left my wolf feeling hyper satisfied.

Once I'm fully dressed and I see that Zev's decent I walk over to the door and open it. Dai is at the door and I can see the judgment in his eyes.

"Oh screw off, you know nothing happened Dai, don't give me that look," I mutter rolling my eyes.

Zev comes up behind me, still shirtless, and snakes an arm around my waist. "Alphas," Dai acknowledges us with a nod and then continues, "We've spotted a few, but not all of them, coming closer. The packs have also already left to return to their respective lands."

"That's good," Zev says. "When do the women get her Alpha Dai?"

I elbow Zev in the gut discreetly, but from the momentary shift in his breath I know he felt it. Dai meanwhile answers his question, "Alpha I suspect that they will get her within a few hours, at the latest nightfall."

"That's a hell of a window Dai," I complain. "So we'll be prepared to meet them on the battle field whenever."

"Good," Dai says with a curt nod. "Don't get distracted by each other."

I yell a few curse words after him for his snide comment and then slip out of Zev's hold and head toward the smell of food. When I walk into the dining area I glare at Dai for a second before going over to the buffet of food that's been set out. I grab a plate and then put a pile of bacon and almost a half a loaf of the sliced bread. I'm half way through my first piece of bacon when I startle. The kittens!

I'm about to drop everything and run back to the packlands when an alpha I don't know interrupts me. "Alpha Cas?" They almost timidly inquire. I nod and the continue. "A wolf named Darryl want me to let you know that he left without you to take care of the bobcats."

The weight on my shoulders disappears at that. "Thank you," I say with a huge sigh of relief.

"Alpha Soleil," He says introducing himself. "Strange isn't it."

"That sounds familiar," I murmur quietly to myself.

"We're a prominent pack in the north, we have a large number of white wolves like yourself," He answers my unasked question.

"Ah yes, the pack my mother was born to," I mutter, I'm mildly annoyed but I don't let it show.

After a little bit of useless conversation I pull away and return to my food which is no longer hot from the skillet and oven, respectively. I munch away happily on the bacon anyways. When I am down to two pieces of bread left I get up and put the plate in the collection bucket. After I head outside and make my way around the building, such that I'm facing east, uninterrupted. There are five of them, and they're almost here. I let out a howl, it's mildly odd sounding as I've not shifted but it will work as a warning signal. Hopefully everyone's ready to engage. At this rate it will take us five, maybe four, days. That is, assuming we can manage to kill Kαlαssε.

I pick up a light jog towards them, then slow when they're only a mile out. My vision starts going fuzzy, I glance backwards and see Zev running, almost desperately, towards me. I see a shimmer of a pair of silver eyes and everything fades to black.

I just got kidnapped.

Like of all the possible, stereotypical, ridiculous things that could have happened. I got kidnapped. Like this actually happens. I would not have guessed it.

When I come to my eyes snap open and I see a white woman before me. I want to lunge at her but my arms and legs are shackled. Looking down I see that they've also put a shackle around my waist and turns out I've one around the neck as well. Well isn't this fun.

"What the fuck?" I yell at the woman, alerting her to my much awake presence.

She walks away without a sound and I yell after her, like if I'm being held prisoner at least question me first before leaving me to rot, or killing me, either one. This is such an annoying situation. My wolf is pissed, I'm irritated, and I've no one to take it out on.

When Kαlαssε walks in, her neck fully healed I groan. I'm not fluent in Greek, if she's going to be the one questioning then I'm going to just yell at her normally.

"Hello," she says, the word rough and in practiced on her tongue.

"Hello, Kαlαssε, to what do I owe the pleasure?" I ask.

"Pleasure?" She questions.

"It's an expression Kαlαssε. I was asking why I'm here and you are the one talking to me," I explain, annoyed.

"Ah, yes, Miss Alpha. I am interested as to how you know me and my sisters so very well?" She asks.

"A little something called a history book," I answer sarcastically.

"History book?" Her head tilts a little in confusion.

I smile, sincerely amused and say, "We have a habit of writing down important things. You and your sisters are no exception."

"The thing the humans do?" Kαlαssε wonders. I nod and she says, "And what does this history book have to say about us?"

"Ah the white women, Kαlαssε, you are the strongest but two others are more so than the others as well. Though, they're not named as you are. And I must say, I was not aware you were sisters. I must apologize, I killed one of your sisters. Though I wasn't quite sure how to kill you all, our encounter was quite informative," I answer, somewhat truthfully.

"Yes we are in mourning," she says. "Where is your mate?"

"Zev? Not sure. Probably frantically searching for his beloved. Don't mind him too much," I say, brushing off the idea of Zev being important right now.

"And he will come for you?" She confirms.

"Probably. What are you using me as bait?" I ask amused.

"Bait? Ah a reason to bring him here. Yes we are," She answers.

"Why's that?" I inquire.

"He's of the Moon Goddess, as you call he, is he not?" She answers, with a question no less.

I roll my eyes and ask, "What does 'of the Moon Goddess' mean Kαlαssε?"

She blinks some and says, "He bares her red eyes."

I snort and then laugh incredulously, "You're looking for the True Alpha. How mistaken you are then. He has no red eyes. They're green, you fool."

She shoots forward and digging her nails at the base of my neck, just below the shackle, and snarls out, "Where is the one of the Moon Goddess."

I stare unamused at her and then close my eyes. I pull forward my wolf and then open my eyes. "You've already found me Bitch," I snarl back.

Her grip upon my neck increases and I start to feel prickles of pain as well as some blood trickling down. This could get dangerous. Obviously she doesn't want me over for a cup of tea. Let's just hope she needs me alive for at least a while longer.
