Celine's Depression - Part 8

Now as time goes by Celine hasn't heard anything from Vanessa, and she sits in front of her fireplace thinking about taking a drive to watch the last sunset before she decides to leave on her vacation. Though it was a cold evening, but that didn't stop Celine. She even thought about the crazy dreams she's been having, and about being alone, and not having that special someone to come home to, and thought about not even being a mother yet, even though most women she knows has babies, and a husband, and it's what she wants, and what she feels she needs.

Celine drinks up a glass of water, and puts on some warm clothes, and this time she puts on some winter white leggings, and top to match, and grabs her winter white coat, and reaches for her phone, keys, and purse, and she heads out to the ocean front to watch the sunset. She turns on some jazz, and drives away.

On the other side of the city, Nicolas finally leaves from around his old college friends, and listens to some music in his car, and he thinks about what Mozelle was telling him, and he decided to go on ahead, and follow what she had instructed him to do. He rides to the beach to watch for anyone who looks like the woman in his dreams then he thought that he should turn around, and go out to the club, but then he can't get his mind from the dream, and he heads on to the beach.

Now as Celine finally makes it to the beach, and she gets out, and starts to walk down the beach, and it's cold, and the winds start to blow, and she just stops to look out at sea, and thought about going to France. Celine starts to get depressed for a moment, and she has everything going for herself except a love that can last a lifetime. Celine starts to get teary eyed, and watching the sunset.

Nicolas pulls up down the way from where Celine parked her car, and he gets out, and starts to walk, and with his head down thinking that he's got to be crazy to think about what Mozelle told him. Nicolas phone starts to vibrate, and it's his college friends asking him about the club tonight, and he told them not tonight, I have other plans for tonight.

Reggie on the other end of the phone saying to Nicolas this girl going to be there that we were talking about at lunch, and soon as Reggie said that Nicolas looks up, and see's a woman standing on the beach looking out at sea. Reggie on the other end of the phone speaking; Nick you're there? Nicolas says yeah I'm here, but no not tonight I have other plans, and when he said that he stopped in his tracks, and with his mouth opened was very shocked that he see's this woman with his favorite colors on, and tells Reggie got to go Reggie, and I'll get with you guys on another day. Reggie says; alright Bro talk to you later, and Nicolas says yeah later Bro.

Nicolas slowly walks towards her hoping he doesn't scare her away, and he did as Ms. Mozelle told him. He looks at her, and she's not really paying him any attention, because now Celine is thinking about her dreams, and Nicolas is doing the same, but then all of a sudden he speaks to her saying; it's beautiful isn't it? Celine hears his voice, and says yes it is, but never looks his way, and steady looking out at sea. Celine speaks, and says he's out there waiting for me. Nicolas asks her who's he your husband? Celine says nothing, and she starts to slowly walk to the water, and Nicolas says I too waiting for her, and Celine stops walking, and Nicolas walks to her, and says my homeland is out across the ocean. Celine says I was going to France, but he probably has someone else.

Now Nicolas didn't want her to run from him, and he tells her there was a time long, long time ago I had someone, and now I'm here, and she's out there in my home where you call France. Something comes over Celine, and she steps out from the water, and starts to cry, and that's when Nicolas reaches into his coat pocket, and hands her out of a small clean tissue, and says I understand, I feel the same way, and that's when he starts to shed tears, and Celine looks at the sunset, and says this will be my last sunset. Nicolas replies, and says to her here's some tissue, and she looks up at him, and pauses, and she gets chills from with in like she did when she has the dreams, and looks him in the eyes, and he's crying too, and she asks him why he cries? Nicolas says because I lost her, and two children, and that's when Celine exhales, and said to him what's your name? Looks like if I know you from somewhere? He answers her with, my name is Nicolas Roux, and yours? My name is Celine Labelle. Nice to meet you Celine Labelle. Nicolas smiles at her, and she smiles back. So your home is France? Nicolas says yes France is home, but for now looks like I'll be here for awhile. Celine dries her tears, and tells him she was suppose to go to Paris, and he asks her your still going? Celine looks out at sea, and the sunset, and she says look it's going down, and Nicolas just can't keep his eyes off her eyes, and he decides to say his old name, and his wife's name from a past life, and it's Celine, but he still doesn't want to frighten her away, and Celine mentions a name from her dreams Louis, and Nicolas says Loren, and Celine looks up at him, and says how you know that name? He tells her I knew someone with that name, and Loren knew of a Louis long ago, and they had two children, a boy, and Celine cuts him off, and says a girl too? Nicolas answers yes, they had a girl also, and he had a brother name Paul, and things were bad back then, and Celine walks closer to him, and see's the tears slowly falling from Nicolas eyes, and she wipes them with the tissue that he's holding onto. Then they look each other in the eyes, and Celine says it's you I seen in my dreams. Nicolas says yes it is I. Celine I've seen you in my dreams, but never thought it was you that I would be standing here. Nicolas speaks French words saying, toi et moi pour toujours. Celine looks into his eyes, and says in French, dans l'au-dela. Yes Celine dreams do come true, and even in the afterlife.

I have keep those words with me in this life. Celine asks him to say her name from back then, and Nicolas says Loren, and she answers Louis, and he answers her, Oui mon amour. Nicolas touches her hand as she reaches for his hand, and she touches his face, and says it is you? Nicolas kisses her hands, and she starts to cry, and he does too saying I waited years, and years just to see you, just to hold you again. Celine looks up at him, and says it is a God, and Nicolas says yes it is, and always was, and still is today. Two souls that was lost in time come together again as they always said in the afterlife. Nicolas looks into her eyes, and wants to kiss her, and she nodded her head yes, then said to him kiss me again, and Nicolas was waiting for permission just to do what he wanted to, and lifts her chin, and kisses her tenderly, and she does the same, and he picks her up in his arms, and continues to kiss her, and he walks her to his car, and opens the door, and sits her down, and he gets in his car, and looks at her, and kisses her over, and over again to the sounds of Smokey Robinson's Quiet Storm.

As they embraces with kissing, and hugging, and Celine forgot about her car, and tells him my car there, and he says to her, I don't care about a car, all I care about is being with you now, and forever. Nicolas says I'll have it towed to your home, I don't want you out of my sight Loren, and Celine looks at him, and says you must call me by my name in this lifetime. Nicolas looks at her, and says Celine, and every time he says her name the more they want to strip down naked in his Porsche, but he respected her too much, and he got out to walk her to her car, and she taken her purse out of her car, and he called triple A to tow it to her place, and he drove his car right behind the tow truck, and he paid for it, and he thank the two guys that towed Celine's car, and she unlocks her front door, and he said after you my love, and she walks in, and they removed their coats, and she asked him do you drink? Nicolas says yes what do you have? Celine asks him to come to the kitchen, and pick out what he would like to drink. Nicolas pulls out a bottle of Domaine du Pegau Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Reservee 2014 Red Wine, and Celine says that's a nice one. Nicolas looks around, and a painting on the wall shows a familiar place in France, and he stares at it, and Celine walks up to him with the glass half way filled, and she says it's a place familiar to me too. He turns around, and she hands the glass to him, and he stares at her, and says to us, and she say to us as they toast, and drink, and she walks over to the fireplace, and Nicolas says, let me do that, and she steps back, and let him take control, and the sounds of music plays through the speakers, and he asks her who's the artist? Celine looks over at him, and says come I show you.
