Getting To Know Each Other Again- Part 10

Nicolas tells his story before he left Paris. Well it started out I was born there, and had three siblings, and they passed away along with his parents in a shoot out in their neighborhood, and he was away at a friends house writing some music, and I heard out some shots being fired, and all I could think about all the fighting from a night before the shoot out, and I heard people screams, and my friend Maxwell, Beatrice, and I hit the floor until the firing of guns stopped, and all I could do is think about my mother, father, my brother, and two sisters, and then sirens, and I look up at the door, and I felt something deep inside of me, and I hit the door, and start to run towards the door , and out I went to go home to see if my family was alright, and by the time I've gotten to the house, there people were some in the streets dead, and I looked over, and seen my father, hovering over my mother, and he was shot up, and my three siblings were also about 7 feet away from them murdered in cold blood, and that just taken a hold on me, and I promised my mother that my music will get us all out of here to New York, and she always supported me to reach high, and stick to my work, and that's what I did, and had gotten a award for my 2 platinum albums, and I put in for a passport, and come out here after I buried my family, and sold a home their, and I still have another home there, and just haven't been back since, and it has been 7 years now Celine, and I have a home here in the city, still working. Celine got up from the table to hold him, and he held onto her, and said to her you're all I have now Celine.

Celine's heart ached for him, and said; Nicolas don't worry I will always be here for you, and she told him about her life there, and said she had no family either, only him, and that she works hard with other artist, and she teaches dance, and has some properties in other cities, and that she was the only child, and that she lost her parents back in 2005, and spend most of her time writing, and some friends try to get me out to the clubs so that I don't fade away living alone, and I never really wanted to get back into that scene, because I knew something was coming, but yesterday I went to the mall with a friend, and her name is Vanessa, and she's a little on the wild side, and she came by to pick me up, and we shopped at Saks, and went to get some wings, and she's trying to get me to go out tonight, but I told her no, and that I was going on a 2 weeks vacation to Paris, and she's funny, out spoken, and most people think I'm boujee, and I don't think so, but hey that's their opinion.

Nicolas, said to her you were going into the waters Celine when I seen you on the beach, why my love? Celine looks at him, and said I was about to give up Nicolas, and he held on to her, and said; no, no Celine I'm here to stay, and I won't let you do something like that. I would've swim out in those freezing waters for you Celine. Celine looks at him, and says to him I'm glad you came along just in time.

We're here now together, and that's all that matters now. Yes Celine answers, that's all we have is each other. Shall we continue our breakfast, and she picked up a fork, and they continued their breakfast, and afterward, they turned on the morning news, and watched it as they snuggled up in each others arms on the sofa. Then it started to get cloudy, and then comes the rainfall. The sounds of thunder, and they both smiled at each other. Now Nicolas was thinking if I found her what about my brother, and when will he come along...he thought to himself, and Celine can feel something else is missing.

So Nicolas your place, can we go by there? You do live alone? Yes I live alone, and soon as we finish breakfast we can go by there if you choose too? I choose too, she said with a smile. I can follow you there, I have a few things to catch up with. I need to call Vanessa, and to let her know I received all those texts messages, and I'm suppose to get at her today. So Celine your telling me to give you space? This is a lot to take in right now, and I do want us to be together this evening, and don't worry you'll see me again. You did ask me to marry you Nicolas? Yes, and I meant it Celine. Nicolas looked into her eyes, and asked her for her hand, and she's looking at him like for what? Nicolas was looking at her fingers, and looking at the size to get ready to purchase that engagement ring while she's catching up with Vanessa.

Nicolas finishing up his breakfast, and saying; Celine, I do have some things to finish this evening, while your with Vanessa? Yes, Celine replied Vanessa, and Janet are the only ones I associate with these days. I tell you this Nicolas, how about I just come by after I'm through with Vanessa, and you just give me your address, and I can come to your place tonight? Nicolas agrees with her; but he doesn't want to be far from her since they found each other, but he remembered what Mozelle told him, not to run her away, so he must let her breathe, and take all this in, because it's a lot for him too, not that he couldn't handle it, but it's her, yes his wife from another time, and he's so happy, and most of all he doesn't want to lose her. So whatever she needs or want her wish is his command, and if that means time away from him, and he knows it would make their bond stronger. He can't wait to tell his friend Reggie, and his associates that he hangs out with at the club. Celine looks at the time, and taking her last bite of that bagel, and started to clear the table as Nicolas starts to get dressed to leave, and he writes down his address so she can come by his place for the night. Nicolas looking out the window, and Celine is looking out the window as she cleans the dishes, and smiling. Nicolas in the bedroom looking out at the rain, and smiled. Thinking about going to purchase the engagement ring, and properly ask her again, this time with the ring.

He comes to the kitchen hugging her, and kissing her, telling her he'll see her this evening at his place. Celine smiles at him, and says I'll be there baby. She walks him to the door, and he puts on his coat, and ready to walk out, and she kisses him again, and says see you this evening. He smiles, and walks out the door heading to his car, as Celine watches him drive away.
