Today was Maxon's birthday and I was really very excited coz I had called his best friend Jaxon(their names are kinda rhyming lol)
We quietly went to his room because that lazy ass was still sleeping. I opened the door and Jaxon jumped on him startling him to death because he looked scared.
"Rebels.... Run.... They caught me.!!!!!! " He screamed and pushed Jaxon making him fall down. I laughed maniaclly and then walked towards him still clitching my stomach and laughing my head off.
"Happy birthday you dumbass. " I mumbled pulling him into a tight hug.
"Owww!! " Jaxon said.
"Jax! " Maxon exclaimed looking at him and then me.
"Thank you so much America....." He replied before hugging me once more and then he started to chat animatedly with his friend. How cute he was. Was I actually falling for him.
I shook my head and then walked towards the one person whom I want to be with. Aspen.
He was in his room so I went inside.
"Hey... You okay?" I asked him.
"You didn't... Tell... Anyone. " He asked confusion in his eyes.
"No.... Obviously no. I take your secret to my grave. " I replied putting my arms around his shoulders.
"Thank you.... Mer. " He replied his arms around my back.
We pulled apart.
"What did you call me? " I asked putting my hand on his cheek.
"Mer?"
"Perfect.You call me that for the rest of your life." I say staring straight into his eyes.
He grinned.
"Yes madame."
He kissed the corner of my mouth and then he went to take a shower and we went to Maxon's party.
"Hello America. "
I turned to find Grey with a cute little smile on his face.
"Hey Grey. " I say actually surprised that it was the first time he spoke up.
He blushed adorably and I pinched his cheek.
Maxon looked so happy with his friend and I genuinely saw a regular person instead of a Two.
He walked towards me and then we went to the gardens.
"I don't know how to repay you America. " He said taking my hand.
"It's nothing. " I reply tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
His lips were to my ear.
"Darling I owe you."
He lowered his mouth to mine as I kissed him back with full passion and love.
We pulled apart as I stared at his melted brown eyes and his amazing chiselled face.
"You are so busy that sometimes I dont even get a chance to talk with ya." He says looking at me with his big brown eyes.
"I have an idea. " He adds.
He reached up to tug his ear.
"Our secret signal. "
I did the same and we laughed at our childlishness. It was damn cute and I really really liked our kiss. His playfulness attracted me to him even more and I decided to spent the rest of my day with him.
We had loads of fun. At night he gave me a goodbye kiss and I was beaming with joy.
Until Aspen's face popped up in my mind.
A sudden guilt overcame me but I brushed it off. This was the Selection. I had to give a fair chance to everybody. But still there was a lingering confusion somewhere deep in my heart because I knew that it was gonna be a tough competition and many hearts are going to be broken.
