Sosefina Afa. My full name is Sosefina Meleane Afa, I am 21 years old still trying to find out my sole purpose in life. I know what you're thinking, "how in the hell do you pronounce her name?" Don't worry, I get that everyday when meeting new people. To help you, my name is pronounced as Soh-seh-fee-nah, Ah-Fah, but I usually go by Fina. I was born and raised in Euless, Texas, being my parents first born of 4 children. My parents are both full Tongan, both raised in the somewhat hidden but still Friendly Islands of Tonga. (Obviously making me a full Tongan.)

Have you ever watched the World Olympics and the opening ceremony where there's always this man holding a big red flag with a cross in the top left corner? And have you noticed the man to be very attractive, with a very toned, half naked and oiled body with a perfect smile? If you either do or don't, that is my peoples, and that is where my parents are so proudly from. And if you want to find out who it is, just search in 'Pita Olympics' on google and his beautiful face will pop up.

I'm about 5'4 with a somewhat tanned skin complexion, long dark brown curly hair that goes down to about mid waist, and big brown eyes. You could say, I'm very petite for a typical Polynesian, but still have similar features to most.

"Girl, how come you didn't tell me you were moving to London?" My best friend Pono screeches from the passenger seat, interrupting me from my thoughts. I flinch and shoot her a glare which almost immediately calms her down.

"What are you talking about? Where did you hear that?" I ask, making sure to keep my eyes on the road. This was the last week of finals of my fourth semester in college, and I was so eager to go home. I'm glad I've made it this far.

"Jayden posted it on his Instagram about an hour ago." Pono shrugs as she continues to eat her curly fries we ordered. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, wondering why the hell my 17 year old little brother would post something so bizarre on social media, clearly knowing everyone and anyone could see it. I focus on the ongoing traffic in front of me, bobbing my head to the beat of "PYT" by Wale, as my big hoop earrings sways along. I look down to what I was wearing, a light grey UCLA jumper with some light blue ripped denim, and white Nike Air's. I check my hair in the rear view mirror, to see my hair in the same top knot bun and gelled down baby hairs. I smile at my reflection, looking the same as how I left home this morning.

"Pono, can I see Jayden's post real quick?" I ask, glancing over to my big built best friend. She looks at me like I had two heads, and shakes her head vigorously.

"The only thing you need to see, is the damn road. Don't get us killed now, Sosefina."

I feel my left eye twitch a little, fighting the urge to slap Pono silly. I end up chuckling at her response and still mush her head to the side.

We pull into my driveway to see heaps of empty boxes outside my house, and my brothers playing basketball on the street with some other boys. I look at the boxes in confusion and look over to Pono, who looks about just as confused as I am. I hop out the car and grab all of my things making Pono lock the door before we enter the house.

"Hey Sosefina." I hear someone faintly call from the group of boys playing basketball. I look over to the boys and see Xavier, Jayden's friend from down the street, sheepishly waving at me with a big grin on his face.
