A/N: I wanted to change it up a bit so I'm going to put this chapter in Samuel's perspective from when him and Fina first met. Also, here's the song I was listening to while I wrote this chapter. Okay, on you go!
Samuel's P.O.V.
Cold water splashes all over my body as I was awoken from a very lovely sleep. I shot up and sat up looking over at my little brother Oliver, with an empty bucket in his hands and an evil grin etched on his face.
"Have you seriously gone mad?!" I shout at the eighteen year old, giving him a deathly glare.
Oliver chuckled and shrugs. "Don't get angry with me now. You told me to wake you up. So here I am, doing what my older brother has asked me to do. I'm doing you a favour, lad."
I sigh and grab the closest thing next to me and attempt to chuck it at my idiotic brother's head, missing completely.
"Get out of my room. Don't speak to me and please make your way out the flat." I spat through gritted teeth, collecting all the bed sheets and changing out of my wet clothes, putting them in the wash.
"As your command, Mr. Clark. I am out." Oliver nonchalantly says as he grabs an apple and slings his school bag over his shoulder. I give him two pounds hoping to help him out with his lunch, which he gladly accepts.
"Thanks mate. Hey, how about a footie match later when I come back from school?" Oliver questions with his mouth full of his apple, spitting on my face in the process. I scrunch up my face in disgust and wipe my face with my hand, opening the door with the other.
"You eat like a swine. And I will see about the footie match later on, yea? I'll text you and please, stay out of trouble. We don't want mum to come to school again to give both of us a scolding. Love you Ollie." I side smile to my younger brother. I pull him in for a manly hug. He smiles and grabs the orange I had in my hand, dashing down the stairs. I suck my teeth and shake my head at this idiot of a brother I have.
"Bloody hell! That was the last orange you asshole!" I yell out, hoping he could hear. He turns around and flips me off, grinning as he keeps running to catch his bus. I sigh and make my way back into the apartment, starting to somewhat clean up the living room.
After about an hour of procrastinating along the way, I finish tidying up the small living room in my brother and I's flat, plopping down onto the couch. As I was about to continue on with my sleep, a loud ringtone and vigorous vibrate shocks me causing to slightly jump. I grab my phone from my pocket to see my best friend Callum, with his caller ID on my screen.
"Hello?" I say, as I try to clear my throat.
"You idiot! Did you forget about your gig at the coffee shop today? You're on in twenty minutes!" My best friend shouted through the phone. My eyes widened in realization and I facepalm.
"Oh shit, I completely forgot! Calm down mate, I'll be there soon." I quickly hung up and went to put on some decent clothing. I made my way towards the restroom and quickly did my business. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, not even bothering on combing my hair. Once I was done, I grabbed my guitar and my keys, rushing through the door and locking it. I quickly speed walk down the stairs and hop in my car, scurrying to the coffee shop.
I made my way to the shop just in time, seeing Callum's tense shoulders ease when he spots me walking in. I walk over to the side and plug my guitar in, doing a couple microphone checks.
About half an hour later of singing random songs with my guitar, I suddenly become speechless at the sight in front of me. One of the most beautiful girls I have ever laid eyes on, walks into the shop. Tanned skin with very exotic and dark features. Long dark brown curly hair down to her mid back, a very chiseled jaw line and high cheek bones, dark brown eyes with defined yet thick eyebrows, and a cute chubby little nose that perfectly matches her plump light pink lips. She was very short, but so gorgeous. We make eye contact after she catches me staring at her a little too long, and she smiles a small smile giving me a slight wave. I nervously wave back and quickly look away, embarrassed. Shit. I thought. She went up to the cash register where her and Callum were talking and she smiled wide, showing her flawless and very white teeth. I've never felt jealous of my best friend, until this very moment. She then sat down at a table about four metres away from where I was sitting. I tried to take my eyes off her but I simply couldn't. She was so breathtakingly beautiful, I didn't want to lose sight of her, afraid she wasn't real.
